Morning.  Made muffins for everyone this morning.  Got Katie and Matthew off to school alright.  Natalie is home again today.  She feels like crap she said.  I am hoping I can run finish up some Christmas shopping today.  Depends on how she feels and if she is alright staying home alone for a short bit.  I am doing dishes and some clutter clean up.  Floors needs vacuuming again.  Kitchen needs swept and mopped.  Hoping I can get to that today.  I am also working on the Christmas treats too.  Probably make some cookies and pretzels snacks today.

Nothing going on tonight.  Dinner will be hamburgers I think.

Today is a day to get things done!  I've been very hands off in the household department and the house shows it.  I have a detailed list of things to do day by day and the people whe will do them to get the house ready for company on Sunday.  Today is alot of laundry and dishes and general clutter putting away plus cleaning out the fridge and freezer.  I need to make one batch of ice cream to go along with holiday deserts.   I'm hoping the grocery store has mini chocolate chips for the chocolate cherry ice cream.  I think big ones will clog up the ice cream maker.  I don't have time to be running to different stores.

Zeph has a full day of schoolwork.  He is still sleeping which is fine as he has had a few late nights.   He wants to run to the bank and deposit his gifts from yesterday's pre holiday visit to grandma.  Snow is predicted, so we should find snowpants too.  Not on my list.

I hope Natalie's feeling better and able to head back to school tomorrow.

Odd day at work - two staff from my room and three kids were absent but the day went pretty smoothly.

Ian had a regular school day and stayed after for extra help. Kayleigh had a regular school day and stayed after for play rehearsal.

Making a homemade soup tonight for dinner. Then Dh and Ian are heading to the scout holiday party.  I will be bleaching Kayleigh's roots, maybe doing her color as well, and finishing up the holiday cards

Oh my goodness, it has been a day.  As I mentioned in my post on Friday, DH's mother is coming up for Christmas.  She has not been here for two years.  The house is a wreck.    DH was supposed to deal with the mail and the bills this weekend.  He didn't do it.  He was supposed to ship the gifts yesterday.  He didn't do it.  DD promised she would clean her room this weekend and help me get ready for company.  She didn't do it.  DS was supposed to do some things for me too and didn't do them either, so instead of studying this weekend, I spent most of it cleaning.  DD had her wisdom teeth out yesterday and DH took her to that appointment, then spent the entire afternoon napping..  I did not have class today, so i spent today studying and doing laundry and trying to get the guest room ready for MIL.  Then DD called me to ask if I would pick her up from school, so I dropped what I was doing to get her, and when I got to the school, she announced that The BF would be driving her home.  Then DS called me on my cell phone while I was there and announced that tonight was the fall sports banquet.  I got home and DD started in and I just lost it.  I had a stompy fit.  Then I started crying. I am so frustrated.  My husband and kids must think that I sit around and play all day.  I cannot do a good job at school and still do all the stuff I have always done around the house.  It is so humiliating to have to beg and beg for them to take up the slack around here and not get any cooperation.  Sorry about the vent, ladies, but I am at the end of my patience and my rope!

Why do you think when I had issues with school the second time around I said "I.  Am. Done".  BTDT.  Twice.  And let me tell you it is NO fun having to do 40 hours of school crap- come home, do everyone's stuff around here while they all sit around on their butt looking at computer screens.  SIGH.

I totally understand, I am so tired and frustrated with everyone that lives at my house right now. My kids have been on break since Friday and their rooms are still not cleaned. Thursday DS has a bunch of people coming over after a group run and this place looks like a disaster right now. I guess I will figure it out when I get home from work tomorrow.
