We had a very nice Valentines Day. I worked all day on the preschool program and had Homework Club after. My student had a good day, I brought cupcakes for the Homework Club kids, and DH called me to let me know that he had made dinner reservations for us for 7:00. we had a very nice dinner and he got me some flowers. It was very nice, and I really appreciated it.
Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day. Day started out on a bad note but getting much better. Dh's boss sent him a nasty email which he got at home. Nice start to the day/ Then the poor guy got to the train station and wanted to load his pass and found that he had very little money in his account because a charge he thought had already gone through just went through last night. He had to call me and have me meet him at the bank to give him some cash. Poor guy! He felt soooo lousy! I got to work and my poor co-worker had incredible pain in her neck and back. It got better as the morning wore on but she felt just awful. The kids at work were all whiny or stealing toys. Now I'm enjoying peace and quiet at the desk and enjoying Amy's frozen enchiladas. Yummmmmm!
We don't usually do a lot for Valentine's Day in our family. I'm kind of a Scrooge that way. I really don't feel people should need a holiday or the retail establishment to make sure they tell others they love them. Dh and I are having a mini date night tonight with take-out dinner from Maggiano's (courtesy of a gift card) and we'll eat and catch up on Downton Abbey while the kids are at swim practice. As far as the kids go, I gave them the Valentines from my parents at breakfast and I'll probably scrape something together after work for them. A local pizza chain does heart shaped pizza so I might order one of those for them for dinner depending on the cost...
Zeph and I really enjoyed Big Miracle.
I don't feel as well today as I did yesterday but I made it thru the day at work.

That's about it... Have a great day everyone!
DH is out of town for the day.
I was up early to make a cream cheese strawberry coffee cake, one for the work breakfast, one for the kids.
