I had an hour and a half to read at swim today so I could get into it. It's a love story and an biography of a family plus a bit of a science book all rolled together. Darwin and the characters are very human. There are references to Dickens and Austen plus some scientists that I've heard of but didn't really know about. It's connecting quite a bit for me.

Thanks. Each time he learns something new, I feel there is hope for us to eventually be on the same page. The next trick is to get him to 'say his prayers'.

Heather I was a bit intrigued and looked up the book, I am going to put it on my reading list to read, it looks very interesting! I'd love to hear what you think about it when you are all finished.

Good for Fermi! Jumping through a hula hoop is one of the few tricks The Beagle remembers from puppy school. Even now she gets very excited when we get a hoop out for her.

Hi all. Regular school day for the kids, periodontal surgery for Dh, super crazy work day for me! It's state testing time so I'm covering my special ed teacher in first grade while she tests our third graders. The schedules for lunches and specials, etc are all changed so there was

We took the girls to a kids cooking place today to decorate cupcakes as part of Emma's birthday gift. I loved the place and am thinking about enrolling Emma is a summer cooking camp there. It's only 3 days for 2 hours a day, which would be perfect for her attention span I think. Hopefully I can start finalizing some summer plans in the next few weeks. Then we went to lunch and now we are home, hoping the girls will take a short nap. My mom and I are going to Walgreens shortly, then home for th girls to play for a bit. Tonight to the park for a while and then meet jordyn after work for IHOP for dinner. To it is my parent's last night in town so I'd like to get some pictures of them and the girls also.
