Good morning ladies.  Back to work today.  Madison's upper lip is still a bit swollen, she kept biting on it yesterday because of the tingling from the numbing for her fillings.  Hopefully it'll go down in another day or two.  We all got off and running this morning out the door.  DH was out late helping a buddy move and Jordyn was up late studying for a chemistry test today.

Not a lot going on today, I brought my lunch, but I may end up running an errand at lunchtime, we'll see.  I have a lot of catch up work to get done.  Tonight I have laundry and paperwork for DH.  Really hoping the accountant gets numbers back to us shortly, nothing like filing the FAFSA on the last day of priority deadline huh. sigh.  I think we are having leftovers for dinner tonight, or chicken quesodillas.  DH should be home this evening, so he can get things started for me.

Have a great one!

Quiet morning around here this morning.  No hamster on the lose today.  It's cool and rainy outside today.  Cats are napping and I just might join them.  I never got areturn call yesterday about my job after leaving a message.  At what point do I start really worrying I lost it before I got started, again?  *sigh*  Katie had some excitement. She tweeted her favorite group and they retweeted and answered her back.  One of the boys in the group always keeps it going and answers so it's a guess who it was but she was on cloud 9.  It had her befuddled for a while.  LOL  Her thrill for the day.  I took Matthew this morning to school and then ran and picked up an ice coffee.  Traffic was awful due to the rain, all the people driving thier kids to school.  I am finishng up the laundry I started yesterday.  Dishes needs to be done and get the dishwasher running.  I need to take care of a bit of clutter in a few places.  Katie is doing good in Social Studies finally, her last two test scores were really great.  Hoping she can pull that grade up from a C to at least a B.  This is a subject she struggles with, Natalie has issues with it too but for her it's a lack of studying.  If she studied she'd do better.  Nothing going on tonight that I know.

Today is a sad day, 1 year ago today a long time family friends 13 year old hung himself behind thier home in the woods.  It's been full of tears and sadness and some of his cousins are having a hard time today.  School counselors have been notified.  Thier mom is trying to keep it as normal as she can.  Think about this family and all the friends who are supporting them through this day.  Rough.  Hug your kids and love them.

Dinner tonight will be leftovers.

Sigh. I replied and I don't know what happened to it. Chelle, I wouldn't worry about the job. When its a government job it involves a lot of red tape. It requires approval ahead of time to even list a job, making sure it has the job requirements and budget to fund the job, and then once they go through the hiring process it still has to go up the chain and double checked for all the same things. We have the same process here, especially when it involves public money and grant funds. Don't worry at all, if they gave you an offer, just hang tight for now. Believe me, if they have work for you to do, they are as frustrated on that end as you are to get you in and started working.

Hi everyone, hope it was a good day.  It was a hectic day at work, but not a bad day. I stayed a little late to set up for tomorrow, and I"m hoping we don't have a two hour delay since I am covering in the morning. I also brought a few things home to prep.

Kids both had regular school days. Kayleigh stayed late for something.  Tonight, Ian and Dh are going to scouts and have to be there early so I came right home to start dinner - pork chops marinara with olives, artichokes and roasted peppers, served with Wacky Mac and sauteed spinach.  We'll probably eat around 5:30. Then I'll have the evening home with Kayleigh - do the work I brought home, watch tv and/or read, have some wine.

Have a great evening!
