Good morning ladies, how are you this morning?

Good morning.  I am working on a bill analysis that I was told was pretty much done and waiting for approval like 2 weeks ago, but yesterday I was given a bunch of hand written notes on it to put together.  I am a little annoyed as I don't know anything about this program, so the notes don't make any sense to me at all and I am having a hard time figuring out how to put it together.  I have a few projects to work on today, no plans for lunch, but I do need a few things at the grocery store I didn't get yesterday (cold stuff), so I may stop on the way home tonight and pick them up unless DH can handle it.  We didn't get to invoicing last night, so that needs to be done tonight, along with bills and laundry.  Dinner will be zucchini pie if I make it to the store for cheese, if not, not sure yet.

Have a good day!

We just got up!  There was a storm last night that kept me up-or rather the pups- so I guess I was tired.  I am surprised Zeph slept this late though.  Today is a stay at home day.  Lots of school and some minor cleaning.

We brought home a stack of 30 history books yesterday for the library and I also bought 5 books from the bookstore.  Zeph is ready to start studying for Nationals.  I booked the dog sitter for  that trip and today i hope to find hotels in Nashville and Atlanta.  DH has enough points for one free night or 2 partially free nights at Holidays Inns, but I really want to stay at the Grand Ole Opry hotel.  It looks amazing on the web site, but in reality, we won't have much time to enjoy the amenities so money may be the decidng factor.

Dinner is beef stir fry with kimchi fried rice.

Shoot.  I started a response and got interrupted and now it's lost.  So another.  It was a normal morning.  No one was a grump and it was a smooth morning.  I left for work early to go by the store and try a different route.  Worked out well.  I put away one project that will never be resolved as far as I am concerned and did some paperwork for my co-worker and now I am stalling while she is at lunch and I can go.  I am about to start another project similar to the first one and I already know the outcome will be similar.  Frustrating.  We are loving our own little private mocrowave in our office.  We hid it so we don't have to share it with the whole building.  Too small anyway.  They need to all chip in and pick up a new one for the break room.  Anyway, I an thinking I am going out for lunch, to just get out of the building.  Feeling the need.  Maybe a wake me up.  I forgot to lay something out for dinner but I have some frozen chinese in the freezer and am thinking of picking up some egg rolls to go with it and that will be that.  Nothing ging on this evening that I know of.  I think I will take care of my clutter table near the couch.  I am not the only person who adds to the clutter but I am to be blamed for it every time.  Katie will be unloading the dishwasher after dinner sometime and Natalie will be getting recycles ready for pick up and Matthew will be emptying the trash.  I may switch that if both say they just did it.  I need to figure it out.

That Hotel in Nashville is amazing! I can attest to that. Sometime I am hoping Tim and I can stay there for our anniversary. We go walk through there every Christmas cause of the decor and the outside lights are awesome. It's just fun inside it. You never need to leave the building. Cafes, places to eat, shopping. All in one place where you are staying.

I am working on chore charts at the moment.  DH is always grumping at me that the kids don't help out enough at home.  They do help out quite a bit, he's just never home to see a lot of it...  But I called him earlier and he was playing video games and I asked him 3 different things if he had done that i had asked him about this weekend and of course he hadn't done any of them either, so I am working on an actual list for Jordyn, a list for him, and a visual chart for the little ones.  I guess I should put together a list for when Christian is here this summer also since he takes on chores to help out while he is here.  Then I'll get a reward jar for the little girls, positive reinforcement I guess...

Does this sound doable for the time we have?

We'll be getting in about 4 and plan to go straight to the botanical gardens to tour a bit in the daytime and then enjoy the evening art light installation.    The next day we want to go to the TN State Museum and the military museum.  I am giving us from 10- 3 with lunch in between to tour them both.  I would like to stop at the Parthenon and maybe tour the art and then just wander downtown Nashville and have dinner. Time to swim that evening unless there is a concert at the Opry that night.  Waiting for them to announce who will be there for our dates.  Am I missing anything else that is a Nashville must do/see?   We'll be stopping back in Nashville on our way home from Atlanta, spending the night before we go to the Hermitage.    Zeph wants to eat good grits.  Grits are awful in Chicago and he liked them in South Carolina.  Of course they were smothered in gravy and had shrimp....

Hi everyone.  Rough day today.  Dh took my car for oil change, and I also ended up with alignment and 4 new tires. Work was tough, the principal is very unhappy with me. I think he completely misinterpreted things that I said and twisted my words and I have been a nervous wreck all day. I feel wine coming on later.

Ian and Dh are going to scouts tonight. Kayleigh is going to a board of ed meeting to receive recognition for having her artwork displayed in a local museum. I am not going, due to the events at work and because I have to go to a CHamber of Commerce meeting tomorrow for her to be recognized for some other art accomplishment. Two nights in a row is too much. I feel a slight twinge of guilt. I'll get over it.

Ran DS to the orthodontist to get her retainer fixed, then went into work. I forgot to take chicken out of the freezer for dinner so I think we are having Chipole for dinner. no activities after school for DS, DD has a dance class. Tonight is laundry and making sure DS is ready for a Merit badge meeting tomorrow.

Mindy, hope your day is better tomorrow. i hate when things like you describe happen. I have learned to just do my job and keep moving life is just easier that way. At this point I don't even know if I have a job next yearbe hope you can relax tonite.

Thanks. I am just hiding from the principal for the time being and hoping things blow over.
