Its Tuesday ladies, how are you doing today?
Morning. We were running late this morning. I fell back to sleep after I turned the alarm off. Woke up half an hour before the girls bus came. They were running out the door to a waiting bus who was about to pull away when I caught him. Ugh. Of course they had attitude going out the door. I ignored them and told them to have a pleasant day. LOL Matthew's bus was very late. I was thinking about picking him up from the bus stop when I could hear it nearby. So I waited and it finally pulled up but they were going to be late for sure. He will be excused. It just might add some uneeded stress to him since he stresses easily. Hopefully he will let it go and have a good day. He was laying on his back with his head on his bag, like a pillow while they were waiting so I am hoping he is in a laid back mode today. I have the dishwsher running and just got done with my breakfast. I need to hand wash a few things and then sweep and mop the floor in there. I need to get the school supplies in order. They are a mess. Just straighten up the house in general.
Booming. More booming. I swear, half the problems with this house are from the booming from the Arsenal - Marshall Space Flight Center - NASA. They test rocket engines out there, the Army also has a practice field for preparations for deployment. Helicopters constantly. I just get tired of the booms and house shaking.
Lucky us! Dinner is leftovers. LOL Kids will be happy, not.
Not getting as much done as I'd hoped. Ian is having a tough time, some anxiety issues so I had to spend a lot of the morning talking with him and trying to come up with a better way of coping. Ugh.
Kayleigh's out running errands. She was supposed to have friends over to prep their GSA display for next week's freshman orientation, but the girl (her copresident) who was supposed to drive the other 2 girls cancelled so now no one is coming and Kayleigh is ticked off and either has to do all the work herself or not do any of it. '
Ian has to continue pushing to the end of his summer reading assignment.
I'm still doing camping laundry/unpacking and puttering through a variety of chores and things today. Later, 5pm, is my book club's annual family bbq. Should be fun, hopefully the weather holds.
