Morning all. Well, yesterday's peace was short lived. About bedtime Megan started mouthing off (very out of character for her) and just wouldn't stop. We have her iPod and she's grounded for today. She woke up in a foul mood this morning. Didn't even say a word to me before she left this morning. Evan was mad at me for not being ready when he told me he wanted to leave. Well, he still had to gather his laundry and take the garbage to the curb... I was on my way downstairs to grab my purse and slip on my sandals and was sitting in the car before he was. Pffffffttttttt!

Not much on the agenda today. Working the desk at church/work at noon and that's it for the daytime. There is a troop BBQ for boy scouts tonight. Not sure if we'll go but it would help the budget and it's a beautiful day. It would also be q good chance to talk to the Scoutmaster about some things and get some questions answered.

My truck is still in the shop. DH took Madison to daycare and dropped me off at work this morning. Jordyn got Emma ready and put her on the bus and then was meeting friends a IHOP for their annual first day of school breakfast, they just moved it to the second day because of the senior breakfast yesterday. She had a good first day, she was happy with all classes except her economics class, but its only a 1/2 year, so hopefully she'll just tolerate it and get through it. Hoping my car is done by the end of the day, if not, i'll have to go get a rental car as DH leaves for out of town tonight and all day tomorrow on a big installation job. Jordyn works tonight til 8:00.

Have a great day!

Morning.  We were running late this morning.  I fell back to sleep after I turned the alarm off.  Woke up half an hour before the girls bus came.  They were running out the door to a waiting bus who was about to pull away when I caught him.  Ugh.  Of course they had attitude going out the door.  I ignored them and told them to have a pleasant day.  LOL  Matthew's bus was very late.  I was thinking about picking him up from the bus stop when I could hear it nearby.  So I waited and it finally pulled up but they were going to be late for sure.  He will be excused.  It just might add some uneeded stress to him since he stresses easily.  Hopefully he will let it go and have a good day.  He was laying on his back with his head on his bag, like a pillow while they were waiting so I am hoping he is in a laid back mode today.  I have the dishwsher running and just got done with my breakfast.  I need to hand wash a few things and then sweep and mop the floor in there.  I need to get the school supplies in order.  They are a mess.  Just straighten up the house in general.

Booming.  More booming.  I swear, half the problems with this house are from the booming from the Arsenal - Marshall Space Flight Center - NASA.  They test rocket engines out there, the Army also has a practice field for preparations for deployment.  Helicopters constantly.  I just get tired of the booms and house shaking.

Lucky us!  Dinner is leftovers.  LOL  Kids will be happy, not.

Not getting as much done as I'd hoped. Ian is having a tough time, some anxiety issues so I had to spend a lot of the morning talking with him and trying to come up with a better way of coping. Ugh.

Kayleigh's out running errands. She was supposed to have friends over to prep their GSA display for next week's freshman orientation, but the girl (her copresident) who was supposed to drive the other 2 girls cancelled so now no one is coming and Kayleigh is ticked off and either has to do all the work herself or not do any of it.  '

Ian has to continue pushing to the end of his summer reading assignment.

I'm still doing camping laundry/unpacking and puttering through a variety of chores and things today.   Later, 5pm, is my book club's annual family bbq. Should be fun, hopefully the weather holds.
