Sure was!!! Unfortunately, it seems to be a pattern lately. I'm not sure how to break it. I've tried getting the kids to bed earlier (all that did was add a chorus of "Mom, I can't sleep" cries to my evening, letting them sleep a little longer in the morning (we were late instead of moving faster), having them make their own lunch because I needed to police the bathroom since they couldn't share well, and giving them lists to follow and letting them deal with the consequences. I just don't know what to do about it any more. Having them pack up the night before would help I think and Evan needs a new backpack. The one we bought at the beginning of the year has now ripped all the way across along the main zipper. He got one for Christmas from my grandparents but he claims it doesn't hold all his books. Dh will have a fit if we actually purchase another one right now. I want to invest in a North Face or something similar but dh won't hear of it. Well, we could have bought a North Face in the fall for the cost of the current one, the one from my grandparents, and any new one we buy for him.

I'm sorry for sounding so negative and crabby. That seems to have invaded my being these days and I'm really trying to get rid of it. There is just so much tough stuff going on in our lives that I'm having trouble being positive. I also don't have any outlet for my frustrations. Maybe a journal...

Journals are good but we don't mind you venting here! We all go through tough patches at times!

It's investment problems, motion problems and mixture problems.
