(I am posting this Monday night as we may have a snow day tomorrow. If that's the case, I'M SLEEPING IN..hopefully) =)

It worked!! Normally I can't get to graphics from my home laptop.

What do you have going on today ladies! It is Tuesday. What's the weather like today? (Remember that song in kindergarten?) Come share with us what you're up to!!

I really, really like it. I don't think it's the tool to make someone ripped or model thin but it's a fun way to do a little of each of a variety of things (yoga, balance, strength, and aerobics). The most fun part of the game is unlocking new activities and trying them. The longer you work, the more games/activities you unlock. Once they're unlocked, they stay unlocked. My kids love it too. They enjoy the hula hoop, soccer heading, and warrior pose (yoga). My personal favorites are rhythm boxing and a balance game where you are a penguin sliding on an iceberg and you have to catch fish without falling off into the ocean. It's a BLAST!!!

There are other games that use the balance board too. Evan got a Shaun White snowboarding game for his birthday which he really enjoys and I know Jillian Michaels (the Biggest Loset trainer) has a game out too.

It's a little pricey but we all enjoy it so it's worth it for us. Instead if family movie night or game night, sometimes we have a wii tournament and play the games. It gives us a reason to move as a family and it gives us positive time together.

I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you might have. If you have questions you would like me to answer, start a thread under the Shout Out thread. For some reason, I'm not getting emails when people respond to my posts even though I check the Notify Me box.

Thanks for the info on the Wii Fit, guys! Sounds fun and good exercise. I am not overweight, but I'm out of shape and need something like that to motivate me. Maybe I'll look into getting it. How long does it take to do the work out?

You can set it to any legnth you want. Since you can pick different activities it depends on the activity or how many of them you do. There are times I only spend 10 minutes doing it, or 45 minutes. That's another nice thing about it, you can control it. Like you said, I myself am not overweight, but I am definately out of shape and really am just working on more endurance and stamina.
