Good morning, I just poured a cup for a mid-morning break. Busy week this week, I'm getting all my cooking done a bit at a time so that Thursday is easier. On tap for today is a lemon chess pie (in the oven as we speak), dressing (assembled, will bake Thursday), pecan pie, some appetizer cracker things, homemade salad dressing, and the dough for the rolls. I need to go clean the trailer (bil/sil are sleeping in it that night), vacuum the pool (trying to fob that job onto my son though), start cleaning the house somewhat, and somewhere in there I need to drive half an hour to see a client.
I also have a TON of paperwork from work to do, to turn in tomorrow before the holiday!
Dd and I have been quite productive already though, she's really enjoying all the preparations this year. Yesterday we finished out little turkey candleholders for the table and cut some mini pumpkins and put candles in them. I need to figure out how to fit 10 people in the house, the last few years we've eaten outdoors but the older folks don't seem to enjoy it anymore, darn it. I LOVE that our weather allows us to eat Thanksgiving outdoors most of the time, but the 80's+ age crowd have seemed bothered by it the last few years (my mom still enjoys it, but she's tougher and younger!), so I am going to cram everyone in the house.
So, all in all, my day is mostly just Thanksgiving prep, with some work thrown in. Kids are off school this week, so ds is cleaning the pit he calls a room and dd is helping me.
I just left the dentist. I had the last two of my wisdom teeth pulled. I have no idea why they weren't pulled with the other two back in 2008. Anyhoo..I am ok for now since I am still numb. I am at work until the novocaine wears off and then I am going home.
MY friend is officially adopting her son today so we're going to the ceremony for that at 3:30 after which they are going to Chuck E Cheese for a "birthday party" and then to a basketball game. So the house will be nice and quiet this evening for me to rest.

Thanks Laura!

That's about all for me....
Ouch! I hope it's not too painful when the novocaine wears off
I had mine taken out surgically when I was in my twenties because they were impacted
I was really sick
(And I don't know why I'm writing this like a DYK, LOL)
Let's see....I deposited DH's paycheck, made groceries, paid his truck note, overpaid the cable bill....and now I'm beating myself up for the mistake.
Hi everyone.
