Hello everyone! I have to take both boys to the dentist for cleanings. I have to first take Brandon to the orthodontist to have his wires removed then to the dentist then back to the ortho's office. I also have to finish my cleaning goal list since my sister and nephew arrive for the holiday's on Saturday. Very excited about that. I work the next few days and then taking a little vacation to be with my sister. Can't wait! Have a great day!

Stopping in to drop off groceries from Sam's and do a bit of housework before going to finish the rest of my shopping. I have the day off of work and no kids.

I have went to Sam's already, Big Lots, looked at living room furniture AGAIN, picked up a car wash gift card for DH for christmas and got gas. I need to still go to payless, carter's, linens & things, and drop stuff at the goodwill. Picking Jordyn up at school at 4, then going to get Emma and coming home to make a nice beef stew and strawberry shortcake for dessert.

Have a good day!

Can you tell my kids have been off of school Mon & Tues---we are sleeping in till 9-10 and it feels good--course it kills my online time, LOL

Let's see today not a ton going on--was going to take the kids to Sea World but my lack of motivation sucks. Em has an appointment at 1 to get her nails filled and I have a baby shower to go to tonight so that is about it for us.

Need to finish up the laundry and go grocery shopping!

Glad to read I am not the only person who hates hates hates projects. They are the biggest waste of time for the most part.It would be nice if teh school was teaching Gab how to write a term paper.Instead I am at the craft store weekly,so Gabby can make a work of art for her class. Then add to that the fact that Gabby is little Miss anal Retentive and by the time the project is done,I am 1/2 crazy and there are almost always tears involved. This weekend Gabby had to make a mobile out of an algebraic equation.By the time it was done I was $10 poorer. She did 95% of it her self, but dh still had to help her put it together. Then when it was not meetin her vision of it she was flipping. She understands the alg. behind the project, who in the heck cares if she can display it creativly. She used a french them.We had to buy heavy paper(display board)then Gab had to cut that to fit her french themed scrap book paper. Then she had to make a baguette to display one part of the equation then she had to get six luggage tags to display more of the equation. Then she got scrap book stickers to decorate the luggage tags, which she colored red and blue. Then she totally flipped trying to get the mobile to look perfect, even with dh helping her to build it after she did the art work>I despise projects!Good Luck to your dd's on their projects.I hope they get them done with a min of drama!

My kids are making me CRAZY today. They are bickering like mad, blah.

I've been productive, even if they have not! I am as we speak canning some salsa (I think I ended up with 5 jars), oatmeal bread is rising on the counter, AND I made/canned 2 jars of chicken broth, plus dinner is in the crockpot (well, half of it, we're having crockpot pinto beans and then soft chicken tacos, the chicken is cooked and I just need to spice it up and heat it on the griddle tonight).

Dd has soccer tonight, other than that we're home all day. Ds has a gazillion projects to finish (chemistry test, overdue paper, he's behind in spanish) but I'm sick of nagging so he can just deal with the consequences.

Off to find dd so we can finish her science and history and edit the paper she wrote, then we need to do our Latin this afternoon.

Have a great afternoon all.

My mom started her radition therapy for her breast cancer a week ago.Since the hospital is close to my house my mom drives up here and I take her every am.We are pretty much in and out of the hospital in 30 mins, although they do back up some days. After that I usually take my mom to the malls and help her Christmas shop, especially picking stuff out for Gab.My mom is hoping to finish up her shopping in the next week or so.The radition will eventually make her really tired,so she wants to be done with her shopping before it happens.

Gabby has dance tonight.I am hoping she does not have a ton of homework since we don't get home until 8:30.Last night she had a ton.SHe had to do some stupid shading project for art that took her almost 3 hrs to complete.Art mets every other day,so it would not be due until Wed,but since she has dance tonight she got it finished.I think the assigment was a little much for a non core subject. She actually did an awesome job on it though. When Gab is at dance I plan to go to Target,Sears, and Walmart and check out sewing machines in the $100-$130 rage,as that is what she wants my mom to get her for Christmas and it will be easier if I know where to go tom.I am looking at singers.Dh is out of town as usual. He will be home Th.
