Let's see, if I'm at a dance club one song from my teen years that always gets me on the floor would be....the electric slide...remember that one? LOL!

Right now I really love the song, "dirty little secret" and find myself always turning it up and singing along!

Pump Up the Jam....I am not sure who sings this but it's like a house song. When they played it at the dances I used to dance SO hard!! =) .....(singing ".....Get your booty on the floor tonight, make my day!")

Let's see.....latest song will have to be Sexyback by Justin Timberlake! That songs KNOCKS!!

Let's see...disco hadn't quite made it to the airwaves just yet and there are quite a few from the early 70s that I belt out much to DD's chagrin. ohh, just one, huh?

O.K. Ringo Starr's: "You're Sixteen" always makes me smile and get down with my bad self.

Nowadays, unless you count the songs from "High School Musical" which DD plays often, there's not much on the recent countdowns to which I can sing. I still like Smash Mouth's version of "I'm A Believer" from the movie "Shrek". Guess I'm an old fart. LOL LOL

When I was a tween I'd say Abba Dancing Queen. I remember my girlfriend and I in her parents camper and we had on bright blue eyeshadow and would dance and sing. I was always peeved because she had blonde hair so got to be the blonde on and because I had brown hair I had to be the dark haired one. LOL

Now, sheesh. I like Dance Dance by Fallout Boy. Something wacky like Time Warp from Rocky Horror Picture show. LOL But I'm not a big dancer.

I guess I was still a teen when this was popular....Working for the weekend by Loverboy. I used to get the hairbrush out and sing to that one.

Now, I don't really get up and dance, but a few of the songs we all sing in the car are Move Along, SOS, and Unwritten.

I like that song too, but it isn't an easy one to dance to!

Rachel likes that song too -- she sings it a lot as well as Ain't No Mountain High Enough and Dani California by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. DH likes the ending guitar solo so needless to say I'm getting sick of hearing it ;-)

It's a tie between 'Truckin' by the Grateful Dead & 'Time Warp' from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. We always sing it when we go to karaoke at one of my best friends house.
"It's just a jump to the left,
And then a step to the right!
With your hands on your hips,
You bring your knees in tight!
But it's the pelvic thrust,
that really drives you insane!
Let's do the Time Warp again!"

Now...I'll go with the 'Milkshake Song".
"My milk shake brings all the boys to the yard.
Their like,
it's better than yours.
Damn right its better than yours.
I can teach you,
but I have to charge."
