Have you ever won anything?.....like a major contest, lottery, talent show, or pageant of some sort? If so give us the details. If not, what's the biggest thing you've ever won?
Bonus: Are you ready for Thanksgiving? It's in 16 days.

You bet miles on the treadmill counts!!! In my book, any time spent putting one foot in front of the other and living a healthier life counts!

I trained BIG time! I actually worked with a coach (who was working with a whole team of us) and he designed a program for me. Check out a book called "Marathoning for Mortals" by John Bingham. That may help. If you're a new runner, look at "The Courage to Start" by him as well. I also love his book "No Need for Speed". Also, if you're interested several charities having programs that combine training programs and fund raising. The one that comes to mind first is Team in Training for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. It's a great way to get moral support, help others, and keep your training on track. You could also try the Runners World magazine web site.

If you've got specific questions or want moral support, by all means, give me a shout. I'd love to help you out. I'm not as into running as I used to be but the knowledge and experience is still very clear in my mind.

Thanks for the tips. The most of ran is 4 miles. I usually run 11 minute miles. I really hate to run outside. It's rainy and cold in Washington state. :)
