I'm in Denver, Colorado. It's close to 100 but what makes it worst is the elevation...we're called the MILE HIGH CITY for a reason! To give an example of how it's different here...on Christmas Eve two years ago it was clear and sunny. DH's parents were here and somehow we ended up out front washing cars...in tank tops, shorts and flip flops. Imagine our suprise when we started a car to move it and it was 45 degrees! Being so close to the sun really intensifies the heat, but the sun too...I wear tons of sunscreen!
hot and humid! It is so sticky outside. It's been in the triple digits for about a week. No end in sight.....although it's supposed to cool off to the 90's over the weekend. I'm in Illinois! JuneMarie
I'm in south Louisiana, and it doesn't get THIS hot on the worst summer day...lol.
We are topping 100º every day! It hasn't been this hot in 7 years, and over 150 years, we've tied the 4th hottest day ever for Baton Rouge within this past week!
Normally, the humidity is SO high, that it keeps the temps down, even though the heat index goes up to 120º. But, lately, the humidity has been down, making way for higher temps, even though the heat index is only around 110º. (Did I say ONLY???)

I'm in upstate NY and the hottest we usually see is mid 90's which isn't most of the summer.

EXACTLY what Laura said....LOL!!
The weather here is bizarre. One day it's scorching hot and humid. The next... nice and breezy.
