1.  What are you motivated or excited about this week?

2.  For those that haven't started school yet, any last minute plans or trips before the summer is gone?  For those that have started school, anything good to report about the first few days?

1. I'm motivated and excited to get some structure to our lives, financial, social, housework, etc. I just hope I don't bite off more than I can chew. I often try to do too much at once and end up burned out and disappointed.

2. Kids have half days tomorrow. Evan starts school Thursday and Megan starts Monday. Nothing really planned begore then. We had a humongous summer and it's time to slow down and get back into the groove again.

1.  I am currently trying to push through DHs attitude at the moment about "grain, the essential evil" because I got a 5 pound bag of amaranth FREE yesterday when I was at the gluten-free pasta store and I am excited to try some more new recipes using hte new ingredient.  But I have to admit, its really frustrating when you are trying your hardest making changes, researching things and the kids won't eat most of what you cook and DH tells me I am doing it wrong. :smileymad:  But I had a great talk with my health coach today and she helped lift my spirits and motivation!

2.  Jordyn has cheerleading activities most of the rest of this week including this weekend, a scrimmage on Friday night and a Meet the Eagles charity auction fundraiser on Saturday night, so nothing as a family.  The kids start school on Monday, so I will just do a special back to school dinner Sunday evening, Jordyn is working a birthday party in the afternoon, but should be home in the evening, so I'll have to ask her what she wants since she's the worst one about refusing to eat what I cook lately, though I already know what she wants.

1. What are you motivated or excited about this week?  We take possession of the house this week-finally!

2. For those that haven't started school yet, any last minute plans or trips before the summer is gone? For those that have started school, anything good to report about the first few days?  We went to the movies today for a last hurrah before starting school tomorrow.  As we were walking out of the theater, Zeph gave my hand a quick squeeze and thanked me for taking him.    He said he appreciated me remembering how much he wanted to see the movie and for making time to go since we still have much to do for the move.  It's moments like this that I realize DH and I must be doing something right.

1.  What are you motivated or excited about this week?  Excited about our camping weekend, yay relaxation - and the weather is supposed to be good.

2.  For those that haven't started school yet, any last minute plans or trips before the summer is gone?  For those that have started school, anything good to report about the first few days?  Water park tomorrow to belatedly celebrate Ian's bday, camping over the weekend, book club bbq next week, hopefully a final trip to the beach on Long Island, a day in the city with my sisters to visit our aunts, Kayleigh may be going to the state fair for a few days. A lot to pack in in just under two weeks, and of course, any back to school shopping
