Lol! I took my 7th grade Girl Scouts for 2 nights in a cave in Wisconsin. We had a great time. It was drippy, cold and slimy. We had warm sleeping bags, but with the damp air and when you woke up in the morning, brrrrrr....... so cold. The cave is totally explored so the kids go anyplace they wanted, through whatever tight little cracks, etc... Some came out like mud monsters. There were many other groups there, scouts, Y, church groups and such. We also hiked, took hay rides, played silly games, etc... They all said they would go back. Even the bats didn't bother them. The one thing that did bother us was that they didn't turn out or dim the lights at night in the cave, that made it even harder to sleep.

Wow, that sounds so cool. My Dd would have loved that. I hate that cold damp feeling though. Your clothes are never dry. Glad you all had a fun time.

Sounds like a cool place. Sorry you guys were so cold. I wouldn't have liked that at all.

I've done a lot of GS sleepovers, but I think I would have found a way to skip this one. Good for you for doing it. I'm glad the girls had fun.

I will be taking my girl scouts to NY city next month.
