Yes but not everyone can keep up with that thread, so this way people who can only post a few chit chat threads have the opportunity. And those who can chat extended lengths alos have the opportunity.

Wow that's kind of harsh. Maybe I'm taking this to personally tonight? I'm so sorry other members have felt alienated on the dyk thread. I've never seen anyone be anything but welcoming on there. I'm so hurt by reading this right now, I have knots in my stomache.

((Chel))) In the past members have commented that they feel, "out of the loop" because they don't post in the dyk thread. We want to make sure everyone feels welcome here. I don't see a problem having both the daily chit chat thread and dyk thread.

It's hard to keep up with two chat threads. If we are going to have a daily chat thread, then why not just close the dyk thread?

I thought I'd pipe in about the DYK thread.

if we close the dyk thread then the daily thread will become the dyk thread. Too much for people to keep up with. I think that's why Laura started the chit chat check in thread. Laura can explain the reasoning when she logs on. :)

Why would you take this personally?

I, for one, appreciate it!
