Hi everyone, hope you had a good Wednesday.  I had Ian's 504 meeting this morning, they are recommending doing away with all of his accommodations.  It was a very hectic day at work, with student behaviors. I am beat!

Kayleigh went to school even though it was senior cut day.  She Is now at play rehearsal.

Ian had a regular school day.

Dh is going out to dinner with former coworkers tonight.  Ian is making quesadillas for the rest of us. I plan to watch the concert for Sandy relief and write out some cards.

I run towels on warm, which is actually pretty darned hot, and then all of DH's work stuff has to go on warm since it usually has oil or grease in it and it doesn't come out on the cold setting.

Oh really?  LOL  Funny thing is we wash most things on cold but towels are washed on hot.  So both were using hot water and it's not something I thought about before starting them.  But after they were running I realized Tim needed to wait to shower at least an hour.  LOL

I never run the dishwasher and laundry with hot water on in one evening if i know jordyn will be home from practice taking a shower or the girls also need baths.  We had a new hot water heater installed less than 6 months ago and it was larger than the previous one we had, but I am still very leary about it.  I try and wait and run our dishwasher once everyone goes to bed.

Having a hard time trying to get into the Christmas spirit.  Blech.  Having to put animals down over the holiday is hard enough- I couldn't imagine losing someone you love right before Christmas.  We were talking at church b/c apparently last week was a very hard week- 4 deaths :(

Becca went to the dermatologist.  Let her go in late b/c I was supposed to be in court at noon for my CASA case.  Get there and the coordiantor said "Oh- I tried to call- we went at 10:30".  She tried the landline- which of course is no longer working and left a message on my phone (which I had turned down in the doctor's office- I need to remember to turn the darn thing back up).  It was a better day- I'd been seriously considering not continuing this past this case b/c I'm so frustrated.  It just felt at times that the court wasn't listening to me at all.   But they DID this time :)

Going to be gone half the day tomorrow to go get Kristen.  And dh and I got into a small argument.  He said I should say nothing about the cat to her.  Ok- I've already lied to her earlier this week b/c she hadn't even started finals.  I'm supposed to have her come into the house and see what this animal looks like and say "Oh yeah- and we're putting her down tomorrow".

I feel horrible enough as it is- I'm hoping the vet doesn't chew me out b/c I opted not to treat her for hyperthyroid.  Sorry- but I'd be the one giving the cat the pill- and she would have wound up hating me.

I'm doing laundry.  Hopefully can get it all done.  Kristen did exactly 1 load of laundry in the last 3 weeks.  SIGH.  I can just imagine how much she's taking home with her.

Leftovers for dinner.

I'm jealous that you have enough hot water to run the dishwaser and washing machine at the same time! I have to alternate hots with colds or wait 2 hours after a load of hots/dishewasher for another load of hots.

We can run the dishwasher and washing machine at the same time.  Showers are where we have problems.

Like this morning.  Dh and Becca like long hot showers.  The heat runs off the hot water heater.  The hot water heater can't keep up with showers and heating the house, so something has to give.  Which meant I got a tepid one today.  SIGH.  Just goes with the kind of cruddy week I'm having.

Morning.  Another good morning.  I managed to get Natalie out of bed at a decent time, I threatened to keep her itouch all day and not let her take it to school.  That got her out of bed.  She knows I will cause I have done it to her in the past.  LOL  Kids are starting to eat breakfast in the mornings again and I am glad.  So I will be buying more breakfast stuff again.  I should make some muffins today for them to eat maybe.  Took Nat her ADHD pill cause her and I both forgot this morning.  I have the dishes washing and the towels washing.  I will be folding some blankets and towels up while that washes.  I have some clutter from the girls art projects to take care of today.  They cleaned up but the floor needs vacuuming again.  I plan to do the touch up painting in Katies room today.  I had to put that on hold after hurting my foot.  I feel bad.  I was trying to get her back in her own room by last Sunday.  My foot was feeling a lot better yesterday but it is hurting a lot today.  It's the side that is bothering me.  I plan to give it until next Monday at least before I go see a doctor about it though.  I know that it could be bruised, but I have my doubts.  I am concerned that I broke it or fractured that bone on the side.  Wouldn't it look odd to have mom and daughter in a boot at the same time?  LOL  Grief.  I am trying to avoid that at all costs.

Nothing going on again tonight.  Just a cozy night at home with Matthew finishing his project and the girls doing any homework they have left that they didn't get done while at school.  Tim is home half a day at least.  He has a pile of sick days unused, over a years worth.  So he's taking a sick day today for half the day.  Says he's going in at lunch.

Dinner will be a roast in tomato.  So good!

I'm still in a ton of pain today.  DH flies home this morning, but he has a freelance job this evening.  Hoping he can be of some help around the house and with the dogs.  Zeph is wanting to do something fun since its 12/12/12.  I fell like lying in bed.  I doubt he'll view a day of laziness as fun.  I'll ask DH to bring home a dozen donuts and I'll let him open a gift (his ornament) at 12:12.    Not feeling very creative today.

Good morning.  I have a rather full day today.  I have a meeting at 9 and another one at 10 which will last about 2-3 hours.  And then some stuff to work on this afternoon.  I have a chiropractor appointment after work.  Emma has a bunch of holiday festivities at her afterschool care today that she is excited about.  I don't know if DH may pick her up and meet Madison at the chiropractors or not, it depends on how busy he is.  Jordyn has work tonight.  I have some laundry and paperwork to do tonight.  I think we are having leftovers for dinner.
