Should be a relatively quiet day, in fact the rest of the week should be pretty quiet.

We are expecting snow/winter weather here later, so they cancelled school for the day and I assume that means drivers ed is cancelled too.

Trying to relax today, get a few things done and maybe a nap.

Thank you for your good wishes, means so much to me and to my family. It is a rough day, things are still unsure in terms of the future but I am trying to be hopeful of the best possible outcome.

Oh my! I will keep all of you in my thoughts today! I hope he recovers quickly and is able to share his musical gifts with the world again soon. Peace and strength to your nephew and your whole family.

Today is a woo hoo day! I got paid and had far more hours than expected on my paycheck! Dh is supposed to be getting paid today too. It's also my day off! I finally have a chance to get some things done around the house! I just need to prioritize. There is no way I'll get everything done but I want to make sure what I do is the most beneficial.

Tonight Evan has water polo so he's staying after school and studying until practice starts at 5:00. Megan has swim practice. She gets in the pool as Evan gets out. Same building, same pool. I don't have to drive the carpool tonight either.

Not sure about dinner. I'm at a complete loss today. I'm really not inclined to do anything elaborate because dh will be at martial arts class until late, Megan needs to eat before practice and Evan needs to eat after. On days like this I usually do a crockpot something so dinner is warm and not too dry whenever people eat throughout the evening. Well, it's a little late to start a crock pot meal now, Maybe individual soups? They can be heated whenever needed and people can have a choice then too. The only issue with that is, is it substantial enough for the kids. They're not huge soup eaters so they don't get much in terms of calories. They are so active, they really need the calories and protein. I'm open to ideas if anyone has suggestions.

What about grilled cheese or quesedillas to go with the soup?
