The baked potato bar is my go to these days. I do the potatoes in the microwave on demand because we have a funky schedule and no two people eat at the same time most nights. Usual toppings are cheese, bacon, broccoli, and sour cream. Tonight I made a taco baked potato with leftover taco meat, cheese, and salsa. Imagination is the limit here. Pick a theme/style of cooking and put it on a potato. It's a great way to disguise leftovers... ;)

Just a work day here. My favorite day of the week, because after I pick DS up at school at 5 I am done running for the day. DD was home with a bad cold so she slept most of the day. I got a haircut after work, I really need color but that will have to wait til I have more time. Just feels good to get my hair to a more manageable length. Greek chicken with orzo for dinner and laundry on the agenda. I think I will try to do my nails while I watch Revenge.

Yet another non-routine day. They drive me nuts! I do best and am most productive with a routine schedule. Evan did not have school today. A former principal at the high school who worked in the district for 40 years passed away over the weekend and there was a memorial service for her at the school today, they couldn't get enough subs to cover all the teachers that wanted to attend so they used an emergency day (aka snow day). Evan didn't know her, has no sibling that knows her and form the sound of it, the service was going to be very crowded so I let him skip it. The end of a very intense which school swim season was last night so it was a good chance for him to take a breath too. All this translates to a funky schedule with me playing chauffeur today. Wht a fun way to spend my day off! Not!

Tonight Megan and I have piano lessons and that's it. Dh should be home at a somewhat normal hour because he's not going to martial arts class for the first time in two weeks. Both kids have a decent amount of homework so we'll all be busy.

Dinner is a baked potato bar. Kids arer getting a little sick of it but I bought a huge bag of potatoes and I don't want them to go bad. Besides, they've got carbs, potassium, are cheap and I can get them to eat broccoli this way. :). They would eat almost anything covered in cheese and topped with bacon.
