Good morning ladies!  Should shape up to be a busy day.  My boss is back from her week long vacation, so I am sure we'll go over things today with her.  I also have a project at 11:00 to work on for the higher up boss, and a 2:00 meeting.  Debating what I do at lunch today, I do need to go get gas.  After work I need to pick up a fruit tray for the daycare for tomorrow's party for the kids all going off to Kindergarten next week.  I don't think Jordyn is working today, but she did have to get up early to go get an oil change and she had a friend stay the night last night.,  I need to decide on dinner, or maybe she can make the chicken sausage meatballs fettucine she has been yacking about all week. :smileywink:  I need to text her and find out so i can decide if I need to do anything for dinner.

Have a great day!

Today is our first day of school.  According to our new carefully thought out schedule, we should have started 10 minutes ago, but someone is still asleep.  I'm showered, kitchen, master bedroom and family room are clean, animals fed and dog played with, changed our garbage service, and waiting for a call back from the insurance company about renters insurance and he sleeps on.

This afternoon I need to run out and sign up for volleyball, stop by the library,go to the post office, and help the ILs pack their car.  Dinner is grilled cheese and tomato soupand canteloupe because we are eating what is in the house.

Hi everyone, hope you are all having a wonderful day.  It's a beautiful day here, sunny and low 80s this afternoon.

This morning, I did grocery shopping for our camping trip this weekend, spent more than I had anticipated. Hopefully my final summer paycheck will be more than I anticipated too?  Ian is doing homework this morning.  He and I will go to the lake for a few hours this afternoon and Kayleigh plans to spend the afternoon biking.  Later on, just planning to relax, make a few phone calls, get this and that done.

Last day at work until a week from Friday!  36 hours in 3 days is so tough, but doable.  Drama at work yesterday; I can only suspect what it was all about.  Same 3 people are here today and I'm just going to smile and keep a happy face on.  Seriously though, tired of the childish behaviors out of adults.

The next few days will be busy; Teagen has a hockey tournament and Kenzie has schedule pick up and pictures tomorrow.  We are going to talk to the Dean about dropping the "Early College" program.  I've talked to a few more parents and one has an anxiety kid, like Kenzie, and another is her best friends mom and neither are enrolling.  Decided AP courses is enough and due to their athletics and such, it's just not the right choice to stress them out much more than AP courses, which is a stressful too.  Which is how I've felt all along for Kenzie, but whatever.  So we meet with the Dean on Friday to discuss further...wish me luck as I'm thinking they don't want to lose numbers.  But I think with her anxiety attack in May with hospitalization will help my cause, so who knows.

Tonight there is nothing other than making dinner and relaxing before the rush this weekend.

Funny Ann, I had to run out and get jordyn "products" and bought an overpriced bottle of nail polish! Normally I buy the cheap stuff or just clear coat and let jordyn buy all the overpriced stuff. She redoes her nails about every 2days and has dozens of bottles of color.

Dh bought an overpriced bottle of nail polish for Becca a few days ago.  She didn't even realize it was overpriced until she looked at it when we were getting a few things.

Just letting it go.  I know it's been kind of a stressful week between his job, dropping the oldest off at college for the first time, and the cat.

I have gotten to the opint in life where I spent money a a very few quality products, I don't wear much make up, but I do get more expensive, all natural items that are better for my skin, and I rarely do my nails. Glad you like the color so well, its definitely worth it then to spend the extra bit of money!

Just curious Tracy, what brand(s) do you use and what types of products? I really like Bobbi Brown (mostly use gift cards from others to buy it, it's pricey) and her stuff has less "icky" chemicals than most but I've been thinking lately that I could probably use more natural products for about the same. Just don't want to spend the money to experiment.

I can't say if my foundation is less icky chemical wise, LOL! But I use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, because in Texas, all my old foundations melted off my face in the heat. I probably should look for a better one, it just took me forever to find that one that i liked so much and worked soo well. I use Physician's formula organic pressed powder also. I still just use revlon or almay for eyes, I don't use blush and rarely use lipstick, but the one I do use is a sephora brand. I have switched over to all gud Brand (from Burt's Bees) shampoo, condition, body wash & hand lotion. The shampoo and conditioner is amazing, my hair is softer than it has ever been since I moved over to using it. And I am thinking of moving over and at least trying the Juice Essentials face wash, exfoliating, etc. which is all natural ingredients. You can check http://www.ewg.org/skindeep/ and they have a cosmetics ingredient and sunscreen ingredients database to tell you where they are at scale wise on good/bad chemicals. We switched sunscreens this summer after I realized the one we had been using for quite a while was one of the worst ones when it came to harmful ingredients for the girls.

Jordyn uses everyday minerals along with the bare essentials and loves it.  I haven't had much success with it at all.
