Good morning. My back is worse than yesterday. The chiropractor fit me in at 8. Jordyn is going to watch the girls while I go to that, then I'll take then I'll take them to daycare. After that, I'm hoping just to lay in bed and eventually be able to move better. Jordyn has cheer pre-camp from 10-3 and then I think competitive cheer practice from 5:30-7:30, but she's pretty sore, so she may just come home.

Have a great day ladies!

Morning everyone! Today is a relax and recharge day. MIL & her husband were here Thursday - Monday and I worked yesterday so I'm going to spend a little time getting the house back in order and then I'm going to relax and enjoy the day because Wednesday is my day off. I have to make one trip to Michael's because Megan needs a few letters to iron on the shorts she's giving her state relay teams. She wound up 4 letters short last night nd the team dinner is tonight. She doesn't like to leave things until the last minute like this but she didn't find out for sure that she was on the first relay until Monday evening and was recruited for the second one yesterday morning. Nothing like a little last minute planning... I guess the coach was waiting to see how the kids swam at Regionals last weekend.

Dinner is whatever people can find in the fridge. Megan will be at the team dinner and we have a ton of leftovers from the ILs visit. Might splurge on some DQ ice cream for Evan. He wanted to make the state cuts terribly and didn't (mostly because other commitments like Scouts) kept him out of the water toward the end of the season. He was supposed to be on a relay but two of the other boys were headed to camp and couldn't make the state meet. Breaks my heart because he worked his tail off and now he doesn't get the reward. He seems okay with it because he knows he earned it and now he has some free time. His room is a DISASTER and he really wants to start high school in a clean and organized state. Since he's going to be at my parents attending a sailing camp during the day for two weeks right before school starts, this will give him the time pull himself together before he leaves.

Lucky for me, Megan will be at a residential horseback riding camp the first week Evan is at sailing camp and work is on break that week too! Can't wait! I can get a few things done around the house and get an exercise and eating plan underway! Been to two doctors for annual visits lately and both hinted that I really need to do something about my weight. I'm ready to work on it too. Not feeling all that great and the crap I've been eating lately doesn't taste good to me anymore. Kids need a better example too.

Sorry this got so long. Guess I had a lot on my mind.

Have a grat day everyone! Starting to thunder (yet again) so we might be in for an inside day here in IL.

Well my chiropractor said I definitely did a good job messing up my back. I am supposed go heat for 15 minutes and then ice for 15 minutes as much as possible and by Sunday I should be back to good. :0(. But, I think I'll work in a pedicure today, you know those lovely massage chairs would be great for it! I think I'm also going to stop at the YMCA on the way to pick up the girls from daycare later, I called yesterday and Emma has to go in for an evaluation for them to decide which swim class she'll go into. I'm hoping it's the very first 4-5 class because it's schedule at the same time as the parent/child class Madison is going to take, so they can both be in the pool at the same time and I don't have to juggle kids while there.

Hi all. It's a perfect, gorgeous summer day, but no swimming or summer fun for me, Dh and Kayleigh are volunteering for setup at the 4H park today, Ian is at camp - at least someone is swimming. Work day for me, then I came home and baked cupcakes for the 4H youth leader dinner tomorrow night. Now I am going to pick up Ian, we will get ice cream and he'll get a haircut. Then we'll register the kids' projects, come home for a lateish dinner and get started labelling and packing things for scout camp
