I have been to see the doc about my knee. I have a 3 week course of strong anti inflamation meds and painkillers so I need to keep going but on lighter duty. Yeah coz that's likely to happen with 4 kids at home.
I have stretched the ligament and every thing's a bit unstable but they don't want to strap it and let it get "lazy" lol
Blargh, the stomach virus hit our family, and last night was my turn... There were seriously stretches of time last night that I thought -- hoped, even -- that I was going to DIE. Thankfully, it was short-lived and I feel much better this morning, although tired and still not hungry AT ALL. DH is the only one still standing.
So I think today I am going to not do much of anything at all but rest. A friend lent me the DVD "Little Manhattan" and I watched it already this a.m. Oh my gosh, what a sweet, adorable, funny movie, especially if you have a tween!! I definitely recommend it.
Ugggh!! That's all I can say about today. Woke up to t-storms at 4:00 and never got back to sleep. Got up at 6:30 with a headache and a tight, painful stomach. Had to get the kids to school and run a mess of errands. That means I was spending money I shouldn't have but it was stuff we needed or closer to needed than wanted... This afternoon Megan has a piano lesson and Evan has swimming and then the rest of his Boy Scout fitness test. Not sure exactly when the kid is going to eat dinner. Swimming starts at 5:00 (have to be there at 4:45) and he's going directly to the track outside the high school where the pool is to do the rest of the fitness test. It will likely be 8:00 before he actually gets home.

Good morning!
Nothing much going on here--DD @ school, DH getting ready for a (thankfully) short work day, and I'll be home alone!

Yep--I can't wash it in the shower....too frustrating & I get cold easily!
It takes an hour to wash, condition & set it, then another hour under the dryer.
Work/school day today.
