Morning everyone! Back to the daily routine today. Just the usual stuff that needs to get done-laundry, vacuuming, wash the floors, bathrooms, etc. I'm hoping Megan will find a friend to spend some time with today after she cleans her room because I could really use an empty house for a hour one two to get things done without someone coming behind me messing them up again. :)

It's gonna be a quiet day. No errands to run, no place in particular to be, no school just yet. Sounds like a good day to read a book and go on a bike ride or go for a walk if the weather cooperates.

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone. Finally a sunny, beautiful day, I hardly recognize it LOL. Ian and I are going to spend the day at the local waterpark. It's pretty small so we likely won't be there the entire day but a few hours at least.

Morning.

Becca's mouth is still sore. Dr gave me a prescription for Tylenol with codene- I'm just not sure if I want to fill it or not.

Tomorrow is the first day of school, so today was the day to practise getting ready by a certain time and she made it. I'm working on ordering our wedding pictures, but not too much else happening for us.

Oh my the week is escaping me! Week 3 of orientation is going well...not used to working more than 3 days a week! I love my schedule and will only need help from my mom a couple days per week! Yay!

Kenzie started high school swimming this week and when the coach stopped her to discuss what Kenzie wanted out of this, she was told "you are beyond Varsity and will letter for sure, which is awesome for an eighth grader!" She's psyched for this and can hardly wait for the meets to start!

Teagen is loving school and can't wait for band to start! I think she'll have a great 5th grade year! She's going to play my flute; Kenzie decided to stop band and take choir! I'm ok with it, I think she wasn't all that into it anyways! Kenzie doesn't start school until after Labor Day, but HS swimming is full swing!

Jax is mobile and finally broke a tooth! He is bound and determined to stand on his own! I'm predicting first steps between 9-10 months, so before Halloween we should be chasing him! Ahhh. Why can't he just take his time like Teagen did...she walked at 14 months! Kenzie walked at 9 and ran at 10...Jax just is following her path, not all the same, but very close!

Have a good day tomorrow, everyone!

Yay for Jackson! Yay for Kenzie! Yay for Teagan! Hugs, new jobs are always an adjustment, you'll get used to it. Is he going to daycare?

Sounds like everyone is doing really well!!! Go Kenzie! Club swimming starts here in about 3 weeks. The kids love it but are enjoying the break. High school girls swimming started here on Aug. 10. Not sure when the first meet is.

Glad to hear Teagan is off to a good start and tell Jax to just stop that mobility thing! Megan started walking at 9 months and never looked back...
