I am sleepy and wish I could go back to bed for 2 more hours.  A migraine put me in bed most of yesterday and as a result I have a lot to do today.  This afternoon Zeph has bowling and I've got to run to the grocery store.  Tonight he is making shrinp scampi for dinner with a salad.  It was suppsoe to be last night, but I wasn't up to eating.

Hugs Heather!! I need to check the weather, they said a cold front was coming through yesterday and it would be in the 70's the rest of the week, and it was cool last evening after the rain, but they said on the radio this morning 92 today, so I am confused. I put both kids in jeans and t's for the "cold" weather. Long drive into work because of the "rain". Small project I am continuing to work on, hope to have it finished by the end of the week. I have lunch plans with a co-worker, a meeting at 2:00, and then a chiropractor appointment this afternoon. DH put a roast in the crock pot for me this morning!! Jordyn has the community wide homecoming pep rally this evening, so she'll come home from school, get ready for that and then head back to school for it. Won't be home until later in the evening, but still plenty early enough to get homework done and in bed before midnight I am hoping. And the Tigers/Yankees game is on tonight, hoping for a win tonight so we can have a few nights off of sports. I still have a lot of laundry to catch up on and crossing my fingers the ant situation is finally under control and I can put my pantry back together. Have a great one!!

I am just fine in shorts and t's all the way into the 50's most of the time, as is Jordyn. But the little girls, born and raised Texan, get cold much easier. Emma likes the cooler weather a bit more, but Madison, she was complaining in her t-shirt at 67 degrees this morning that she was cold. I just rolled my eyes at her, but she's my true Texan, southern accent and all! LOL!

Katie wanted to go in early to get help from her math teacher.  Then I turned around and took Matthew to school and he promptly forgot to grab his doctors notes for yesterday.  Called me on my way home but my cell phone had run out of minutes and didn't realize it.  But he left me a message at home.  I was concerned he would get all the way to the office and realize he'd forgotten them.  Matthew has a robotics meeting after school today and Natalie has a volleyball clinic also after I get back from getting Matthew.  I think she will be riding with a neighbor.  I may drive over after a bit to make sure she is fine.  She had a bit of trouble during the clinic on Monday.  I am getting the bills ready to be paid on Friday.  I am thinking I might go finish priming Katie's room so we can get her paint this week and paint this weekend.  Not really in the mood to paint but it needs to get done.  Ugh.  I want to clean the family room carpet but I should have done it first thing this morning.

I just got dinner going in the crock pot and later I will make corn bread to go with it.  I am slow cooking beef stew.  Still need to put in celery and I need to see if I can grab a couple of potatoes for it since we are out and I am shopping tomorrow.

Hi everyone, feels like a long week.  It was a busy day at work for me and we are all feeling like the students are starting to get on our nerves.  We also seem to have a lot of absences.

Kayleigh got to sleep in today. It was PSAT day and as a senior, she didn't need to go in til the test was over so the bus came four hours late for her.  She stayed after school for something. Ian had to be at school at 6:30 for his trip to Ellis Island and Liberty Science Center.  He got back at 6pm.  Dh had to leave early for a meeting and didn't get to eat dinner with us.  I had lamb chops, my favorite dinner.

Now, chatting with my sister, then cleaning up the kitchen, then wine and tv
