Tired this morning. I have a Drs appointment this morning. I am thinking I might take myself out to lunch. It's a laundry day for me. A down day, nothing going on tonight.

Dinner is gonna be chicken.

I got the roast and veggies in the crock pot this morning before I left, and Jordyn was supposed to turn it on before she left for school. I have a few errands to run at lunch time, then a 2:00 meeting. DH should get back from out of town pretty soon, and Jordyn has to work tonight. Tonight I have a bunch of chores to do around the house.

Have a great day!

Blah day today. The village put a wrench in my laundry plans for today by deciding to do a water flow test and flush the hydrants. We were told not to do laundry and to expect discolored water between 8 and 4. We were notified after 3 yesterday... Spent what time I could doing laundry last night (drove both legs of Megan's carpool and took Evan to Scouts so I wasn't home much). As a result, I was up until 12:30 last night because the kids both need to pack tonight for weekend activities. I was up at 5 this morning to take Evan to swim practice and fold laundry. Took a nap earlier and feel a little better. Ruined my day off though.

Tonight Megan and I have piano lessons, dh is going to martial arts class, and Evan has swim practice. Dinner will be pork chops, rice, and green beans.

Have a great day all.

Hi all. Work felt stressful today, behavior issues (the students, not me, I behaved pretty well).

Cheryl, my '79 Monte Carlo was the same way, except we didn't know the gas Gage was broke til the first time it wouldn't start for me. Luckily I was home at the time and we figured it out pretty quickly, that was how I learned to estimate mpg for cars. Jordyn's truck's gas Gage is wonky, so she is supposed to do the same thing, when it gets to 250, fill it up. But, the life of a teenager and only putting $10 here and there...

LOL! I got mine in 1993 when I was a junior in h/s. I hated it at first, it was a baby blue boat! My dad got it for $400 and had to put a transmiission in it almost immediately! But after a while I loved it, and it was one of the best cars I ever had.

Boy do I hear you about being irked at the family for not doing little things. Same thing happens here. When I get upset about it I'm "unreasonable" according to them because after all, it's no big deal. It's just a few pots and pans to put away or it's just a few things left on the counter. New flash... Four of us live here and if I spend all my time doing the little things, I can't get to the bigger things like mopping floors and cleaning out closets.

Sorry to hijack your post but this is a real sore spot with me and I wanted you to know y are not alone.
