Got the kids up and around this morning, been to a meeting and back already, have a meeting at 2:00.  Hoping to take a nap at lunch, I had trouble getting to sleep last night.  DH is out of town, should be back tonight.  Jordyn has to work, I hope she remembered to turn the crock pot on when she left for school, if she did, we're having roast and veggies.  I better text her and ask in case I need to run home at lunch.

Have a great day!

Had a slow morning.  Got the kids all off to school and I did a little bit of clean up.  I have more to do but will finish it in a bit.  I spent the tail end of my morning with Natalie at the doctors office and then had to get her lunch since she ended up missing it at school.  She was ready to get back by the time that was over.  She really likes school but becuase of friends and stuff.  It's not the learning part.  LOL  Came home and got dinner in the crock pot and fed the cats.  I am about to go pick up Katie from school and will get Matthew later.  He has Robotics meeting after school.  I need to go pick up Natalie's prescription after I get Katie.  Nothing going on tonight.  We are all home making a a roast in the crock pot.

Hi all.  I sure am tired! It was a little rough at work today. The kids in my class were definitely pushing the boundaries.  Let's hope they are over it  by tomorrow when I am subbing for the teacher in the morning.

School day/picture day for Ian. Regular school day for Kayleigh and she stayed after for something.

I have to leave at 5:30ish. It's curriculum night at the HS at 7:00 and at 6:00 is a presentation on college application process for the parents of seniors. I wish I could just stay home and go to bed!

Jordyn forgot to turn the crock pot on for me, DH was out of town last night and today so she got Emma up and around and took her to school on her way to school. Apparently Emma was a bear this morning, the girls gave me a really hard time going to bed last night, they seem to smell when I am starting to PMS and they gang up on me, especially when DH is gone. So, anyways, I had to drive home at lunch to turn the crock pot on, walked in, all the lights were on, Jordyn's coffee still in the keurig machine, they must have been running late for her to forget her coffee! LOL! Hopefully the roast is just fine, its just a roast, potatoes, carrots & celery. Its a large roast so I could use the left overs for hot roast beef sandwiches tomorrow night for dinner.

Mindy, we got an email about one of those application process things for next Tuesday night. I wish they would set it for another night, like a second time around for people that can't go to the first one. I can't get a babysitter on Tuesday nights, unless DH happens to be home in time. Good luck! And I second the staying home in bed thing, really wish I could have napped at lunch, I am dragging this afternoon.

Tracy, the thing that bugs me is that there was no email, just a call from the automated system - but I opted out of the call system.  I feel like in this day and age, they should be communicating by email.

Ahh, yes, I would be upset too! I don't know i every senior parent got the email or just the ones on the list serve or what, it was addressed "to all those soon to be empty nesters". All I could think of was, ya, if only. LOL! This came from jordyn's counselor who she really does not like and asked her yesterday during their one on one meeting when she looked at the colleges in jordyn's binder, "those are all colleges up north, you do know it gets cold up north don't you?" lol? Apparently the lack of a Texas accent didn't didn't give her a clue.

Mindy-

Last year, if you were signed up to Edline, your name was on a list with all of the other Senior parents.  I got both emails and phone calls (it got really, really old after a while LOL)

Kristen even got them LOL.
