Hi all, had trouble posting yesterday. Hope everyone had a good Wednesday.

It was an early day for me - left the house by 7:30 with DH to drop my car off to get a new battery, then he dropped me off at work where we started with a before school faculty meeting.  The rest of the day went relatively smoothly. It was a half day for students and I attended a workshop in the afternoon. It wasn't one of the best workshops but it wasn't the worst I've gone to either.  Then a friend dropped me at home.  Kayleigh took me to pick her car up and then we dyed her hair.

The kids had half days.  Kayleigh went shopping (for hair dye mostly) and Ian worked on his merit badges.  After dinner, they made a trip to Starbucks.  I spent the evening relaxing, watching tv and fell asleep before my show was over. Thank goodness for TIVO!

Afternoon. We had a slow start to our morning. Girls stayed up to watch Jimmy Fallon cause JB was on it last night. Matthew had a rough time too.  I took Matthew to school and came to eat breakfast.  Next thing I know I needed to walk out the door in half an hour. Still needed to shower. Picked my mom up and we looked at a table for sale, looked at a few more, got a Starbucks. After I dropped her at home I decided to grab her a few groceries since sh was so low on money. Her having diabetes I want to make sure she is eating properly. She has issues with cooking for herself and it drives me bonkers. Told her some easy ways to fix a few things.  Home now resting. Still coughing. Ugh!  Kids just have homework tonight and chores of course. I still need to load the dishwasher. Running behind on that.

Dinner is going to be skinless fried chicken.

BTW Chelle and Heather, I went home last night and decided I needed a quiche. LOL! I knew the kids wouldn't eat it, so I made them their dinner and then made myself the quiche. Brocolli and bacon and oh was it wonderful! Madison did take a bite of it from me before bed and said it was good. I am having it for lunch today also!

We just got back from a play about Rosa Park's life.  It was well done and engaging.  Ran some errands on the way there and back.  Came home to let out the pups and we are about to leave for homeschool bowling league.  I need to stop at the library on the way there.  Got a surprise check in the mail for a freelance job DH did-he must have done it for home.    Speakign of DH , he is flying in this afternoon.  It will be nice to see him!

Yeah- the water heater was on it's last legs.  I really didn't want to spend 2x the amount as a tank would cost for a tankless system. But dh really wanted to try it- so I was ok with it.  The data SAYS that they last longer than a tank, and considering this is now the 3rd time we've replaced it- something lasting longer would be nice. My neighbor across the street has one- I wonder if she'll come over after school to see what's going on- and I can ask her how she likes hers.

Dh will be home early to see what's going on.  Good thing- Becca doesn't have a ride home this afternoon and I was wondering if she was going to have to walk home.

I'm hoping dinner tonight can be a casserole.  If they have to shut the gas off for a while- not sure if it could be done before dh has to leave for choir tonight or not.

Woohoo!  I got this thread going on the first try!!!!

The day has not started out great.  Muffins with moms was moved to March 1.  Of course the only reason I knew that and didn't show up at the school this morning expecting it with Emma was I emailed the teacher on a whim last night to ask her about it and she emailed back saying it was moved.  Nice notice for any of us that took teh time off of work just for this...  So I told Emma when she woke up and was disappointed about it that I would make muffins at home and I would take her to school.  Rushed to get muffins done, then she didn't want any.  Got into work after over an hour sitting in traffic, and get an email from Emma's teacher that she's got a temperature of 99.5, her eye is red and she is much slower and quieter than normal.  Her eye was red last night, but she kept sticking her finger in it and rubbing it.  I put drops in it and she said it felt fine this morning.  The teacher said she didn't think she needed to go home right now, but she would keep an eye on her and let me know.  So there my be an early trip home and/or a sick day in my future...  Plans to work through lunch, but we'll see how the day goes.  And DH called to tell me my chiropractor is closing early tonight, so no visit for me after work.  If I have to go pick up Emma early for some reason I will take her over there as she was also complaining about her neck hurting this morning.  Not sure what's for dinner.  Jordyn switched shifts with a co-worker, so she has tonight off.  I may make sausage pasta since she'll be home.  Still trying to get the tax stuff out of DH...

Have a great one...
