Wednesday Wondering......

If you could write for a tween-teen or parenting magazine, which magazine would you write for and what topic would you choose to write about?

I've had articles in both Parents magazine and Parenting magazine.

Topics:

Time management

Escaping the electronic trap

Stress management (for kids)

Getting kids reading

If I was to do an article today I would probably write about the importance of down time/unscheduled time

Way cool!!!! How did you get published? Did you just submit the articles and see what they had to say?

I think I would write about teaching kids about money and the importance of delayed gratification. It might actually help me work some things out for my own kids. ;)

I'd want to focus on the importance of strong self-esteem, especially in girls!

My article would be geared towards preteen girls and I'd discuss the idea of valuing yourself for your smarts and your educational accomplishments...not by how boys see you!

I had been interviewed by the magazines a few times and was contacted for the articles.

I've also been interviewed by Newsweek, but never asked to contribute my own article there.
