Here is what I'm wondering today:

What was your job before you had children?

Are you still working there, are you a SAHM, or do you work from home?

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

What is your dream job?

If your circumstances allowed you to be a SAHM, would you?

If you could go to school to learn a new trade/profession, would you?

What would you like to learn?

What was your job before you had children? In the years that I worked before my children were born, I had several different jobs.

What was your job before you had children?

I was a waitress before my DD was born. I loved it!

OMG no, I was a SAHM for 8 years before I needed to go back to work (my ex blew it). I now have a totally different kind of job in a different state!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

as a really young kid, I wanted to be a vet or a doctor, but in HS I wanted to be an artist/photographer/filmmaker

What is your dream job?

Hmmm...if I had it to do all over again from HS graduation, I'd probably like to be a chiropracter.

My answers:

What was your job before you had children?

In college, I was a runner for the International Student Services arm of the Admissions Dep't. at the University of South Alabama; before that, I was a clerk @ their Biomedical Library.

Are you still working there, are you a SAHM, or do you work from home?

I've got a new job now--substitute teaching, which I started after Katrina.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

Many things--I wanted to be a singer the most, but gave that up during the "Thriller" craze (and I was crazy about MJ back then)!

What is your dream job?

I haven't really thought about that!

If you could go to school to learn a new trade/profession, would you? Hmmm, haven't thought about this but it might be interesting to go back to graduate school

What would you like to learn? Maybe more about finances as it pertains to the stock market, my dad likes to do that but he's retired but I need to manage more of my money on my own too

I was a science/medical writer for a women's health publication.

I am the education director for my church and teach preschoolers in a Bible study program. They're both volunteer jobs, but take up a lot of time.

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

I wanted to be an archaeologist or a writer.

What is your dream job?

Something in public health, either research or education.

If your circumstances allowed you to be a SAHM, would you?

I don't get paid for my work, so I'm very grateful for the opportunity to be available for my kids and still do my stuff.

If you could go to school to learn a new trade/profession, would you?

I'd get a master's degree in public health.

What would you like to learn?

Useful stuff for maintaining the house, like carpentry.
