No, he does not believe in the Easter Bunny (figured the Santa, Bunny, Tooth Fairy thing at 8 sniff sniff). His younger sister still believes so he plays along when she's around
What's in the basket? Not sure yet. His favorite candy, some floam, a book from the stash in my closet, and an outside toy of some sort and Peeps of course.
My parents are coming to our house for Easter for the first time so I might just have an adult egg hunt (sugar free candy, gift card, etc.) We'll see how much energy I have and how much I can get done on one leg.
I got baskets from my grandparents until I was about 29!!!!
Do you still make an Easter Basket for your 10-14 yr old?
Yes. Well, actually an Easter basket gets filled...we have our baskets out now.
Do they still believe in the Easter Bunny?
She hasn't ever indicated that she doesn't believe (same goes for tooth fairy and Santa), but I think she's WAY too smart to not know.
If you still make a basket, what will go in it?
This year she will get Cadbury's Creme Eggs and some other goodies, the newest Magic Treehouse book (even though she's way higher on reading level than these are, I'm glad she still enjoys them because I still do), a trinagular-shaped book on historical mysteries that I got from the book fair at my school, and a Tiki water sprinkler that I bought REALLY cheap last year (I think I paid $2 for it, it sold for $18 or so last spring).
We don't do the Easter Bunny or Easter Baskets. That isn't what Easter is about and we do nothing that takes away from the seriousness of what is truely the most important holiday of our faith.

Yes I still make her a basket. I"m sure she expects it, and her brother still gets one so it doesn't seem like the time not to
