I Was Wednesday Wondering....
With the majority of us feeling cold weather---wether we live in states where we are suppose to feel cold weather, or weather we live in warm states that are getting some chilly weather--most of us are facing it!
So....what kinds of things do you do to keep warm?

We definatly cook more soups, chilis, chicken & noodles etc...
We have a gas fire place so we turn that on often!
And we definatly watch more family movies and play more family games!

Well, personally I sty indoors as much as humanly possible. I also keep my heat turned up in my house, heating prices be damned. LOL I refuse to sit around with hands like ice cubes. Otherwise we just soldier on up here. I don't make any particular types of food but rarely do we have a cold meal like salads and cold cuts. I even prefer a warm lunch at work and so does Kristen. I always keep a sweater at work because it tends to be cold and I always wear socks and slippers at home.
We have a fireplace but we don't use it that much because 1) its a lot of work and 2) we seem to be rarely home in the evenings and I'm not going to start at fire at 8:30 pm.
Well, to keep warm outside......I just can't. LOL
Well, we are still going out for basketball games during the winter since that's the prime season. But when we come home we try to have soup, chili, crockpot stuff & noodles. Plus the girls love having hot chocolate & I think DH makes more Starbuck's runs in the evening ;-)

We live in California, so even when it's colder than usual, it's not that cold. When it's extra cold, I leave the heater on overnight so the temperature stays at 68. Other than that we don't do anything differently :).

We started the setting it at 60 thing when the price of oil went way up, and now we've pretty well adapted to it.
