Movie theater about 3-5 times per year. Last one was for her birthday with friends--we saw Charlotte's Web.
Other theater, we've done a few. Most recently, I took her to a high school/middle school Christmas concert. Before that, we went see a great production of Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. We don't go very often to this type of thing--too much money, unfortunately, but I fell in love with the new theater that we saw Charlie at and would like to see more there.
Duh...I was thinking more theater-type concerts and wasn't thinking radio-type music concerts. Aly's been to 4 concerts..all at Blue Bayou/Dixie Landin' amusement park. She's seen Jesse McCartney twice, Raven-Symone', and Bowling for Soup.
I haven't taken Kiana to the movies in a long time. She however just go to the movies with her Dad they say Night at the Museum.
I took Kiana to a Radio Disney thing awhile back she seemed to enjoy that.
Kiana has been calling the radio station several times a day for Justin Timberlake tickets. I wish I could afford to buy them, he is expensive to see. Pink will be headlining and I would love to see Pink in concert.
There's a movie theatre just up the street, so the kids usually walk up there with friends.
Once or twice a year the school takes them to a theatre production, but DH and I have never taken them.
I took Miranda and two of her friends to see Disturbed along with Nonpoint, Flyleaf and Stone Sour back in December. The last concert I took my son, C.J., to was Rob Zombie with Lacuna Coil.
We take the kids to the movies about twice a year. It is so expensive to go and the movies are always out on DVD fairly quickly. Both girls like to go with their friends so for Christmas we got them each a movie pass. The girls have never been to a concert. We have thought about it but their music taste changes fairly quickly so we will wait a little while longer before we go. We take the girls to the theatre once a year. Last year we took them to see Wicked, the year before we went to The Lion King and in march we are going to see Phantom of the Opera. Next year we will take them to see Grease if it is playing in Toronto.
