My Dh works in the insurance industry, he's an underwriter/account executive for large commercial accounts.

My DH is a New Product Introduction Manager at world wide company that manufactures large machinery!

Sound familiar to Laura's DH??? If you didn't know, they actually work at the same facility! Small world, huh?

Dh is currently living his dream. He quit his high paying, secure job with a major pharmaceutical firm in July to be a partner in an internet start-up. It's a social site for sports fans - think myspace with a sports focus. Check it out if you want. yoursportsfan dot you know what.

DH works for the school district, p/t pretty much just for the benefits and he buys and sells various properties with his parents. DH runs the permits through, talks to the county, stuff like that. They finished building a mini-storage a couple of years back. That was a pain. I never saw DH. He was always stressing out over the construction stuff.

You know there is nothing wrong with being a SAHD. although my DH works pt. He gets all the summer off and all the breaks that the kids do. My DH is around all the time. His friends work their butts off and are all stressed out. He says, he wouldn't have it any other way. He likes what he does and he's sticking to it. :)

Good for your DH -
About 6 years ago DH quit his high paying job. He was a project manager for a big construction firm. His dad needed someone to help him build a mini-storage. There went the benefits, the money, the security, the cell phones, the car allowance..... But it was so worth it. He did what he's been wanting to do all his life, build things.
