Mindy, if you were closer, or close at all for that matter, I'd sign up in a few months, I am thinking I want a refresher of some sort and am now kicking myself for getting rid of my hypnobabies home study kit.
This is just my opinion, but I would probably want an infant to stay with someone that I know and trust.Since you love your current babysitter,I would think it would be ok until the baby is a little older.Plus Emma is still young,so by the time she is 3 she can be in a more"educational"place. At this age I would be more concerned about loving care.I would never have trusted Dale to fiund a place, becasue I doubt he would have been as picky as me.Plus for an infant would't a smaller place be better, since there would be less germs.Good Luck whatever you decide.
I worked in daycare before I had Gabby and the parents had to pay when they were off. They did get 50% off for 2 weeks a year if they were on Vacation and gave us a 30 day notice.Plus you pay for dance or gymnastic if you are off.I paid for preschool when Gabby was off.I think that is pretty standard for any business.Gabby has been off dance for most of the month and I still paid the same monthly fee.The teacher cancelled two classes, plus Gab missed two becasue I did not want to drive on bad roads. We also did not start until Jan 5.So I have a feeling no matter where you go you will be paying for days off.
I've hung onto most of Emma's things, clothing wise and stuff, even if just to donate or give to friends who were having girls, it was just the Hypnobabies course :-)
The surest way of having another girl is to get rid of Emma's stuff;-)Do you have any boy/girl names picked out yet? When are you finding out if baby is a boy or girl? Was it the end of Feb?It is good that you have neutral stroller and car seats though, becasue those are a big expense.

Thanks Laura, that's how I feel, and DH looks at me like I'm all "emotional and hormonal".
Tracy, getting rid of your pregnancy and baby things is the surefire way to end up pregnant.
