A little late...

Woohoo: Kenzie and I went for Pedi's and had a nice time. I told her I would get her one for State and intended only to have she and her sister have them done, but with the hockey schedule and Kenzie wanting me to join her, I caved. Teagen was not pleased, but there will be other times, or will there?
Worries: the pedi was more than I thought it would cost and so as always $$ (two years ago I paid less with tip for the 3 of us).
Whines: the State timeline for the meet is ridiculous. The girls decided to not swim the 200 free relay and that was a good move since the meet starts at 10, relays start at 1:30 and I really wasn't sure how I was going to manage our family for 3 hours before she swam...Minnesota swimming is proposing a change in the Champ meets and standards (which they change the standards after every Olympiad anyways, but the State Champs are too long), looks like we will be going to Regionals format. The time change won't affect Kenzie in her best events (backstroke and freestyle), so that's good...but long weekend at the pool here we come (saturday and Sunday will be the worst; to the pool at 1:00 and will leave close to 9-10 at nite). It's not like she hasn't had Mono, so not expecting anything great and she's tapering for Zones, so what a waste this will be. But who knows maybe something good will come of this!!! I need to keep positive...negativity breeds negativity!!!
Whatever: Kenzie had a twitter fiasco with one of her former teammates, but with all the therapy she has had, she put her in her place. So proud of her for standing up for herself!

Woohoo!  I had a morning of pampering- mani/pedi, haircout and color- I'm back to my regular shade of brown with a few highlights --ILs wanted us to stop by and surprised us with an almost empty garage-we never thought they would empty it out-WOOHOO!

Worries: money

Whines: the clerks at Crate & Barrel were rude about the dish return despite th fact that I had the email papertrail  and that higher ups had initiated this-not something I asked to be done

Whatever: I wore a new sundress today and it looks wonderful standing up, but when I sit the vneck is weird and I show off quite a bit of my bra-well at least it was a pretty bra

Woohoo!  Just a woohoo day in general, no particular reason. :smileywink:  Oh, and I get a free pair of panties at Victoria's secret today!

Worries:  H/S Cheerleading issues

Whines:  My sleep habits lately

Whatever:  THe fact that DH told me on the phone today when I told him what Madison picked out to wear (one that I made her, and god forbid he actually put an outfit together for them on his own), that the dress didn't really "work" for Madison.  umm, what??

Woo hoo: dh go paid yesterday and the guy who has been running the company into the ground may have pulled a stunt that will end his time there. I don't wish the man any harm and I will feel badly for him if he loses his job, he's not doing a good job and his decisions are causing many people much trouble.

Whines: while I'm bursting with pride over Megan's swimming achievements, it's playing havoc with our family schedule. Good problem to have!!! I feel badly even mentioning it.

Worries: $. There is hope on the horizon here but we still have to get through some major expenses over the next several months.

Whatever: with half days away from home at different times every day and indefinite schedules, I'm having a hard time getting into a routine and I crave routine.
