A Man Pregnant.....If it were possible, how would you feel about it?

It seems that a transgendered man is now pregnant - maybe.

I saw this on TV... No, I think as long as he kept his female reproductive organs, it is really a woman who has had hormone therapy who is pregnant.

I have two main thoughts:

-the eggs that this person has in his/her body were exposed, quite clearly, to testosterone. Years and years of testosterone while the child's "mother" decided to be a man. Eggs are stored in the body, not manufactured, so these eggs are at great risk, IMO. I think it is unfair to the unborn child, who knows what changes will happen in this child, will she be fertile herself, have abnormalities, etc. I think this if a selfish act on the part of the parents, to expose a child to unknown risks, just for their own need to be parents. There are many ways to become a family. I think it is grossly unfair to the child to muck around with nature like this.

-I don't believe this story, I think it is a hoax. Thankfully, because of my point above. So I'm not investing much emotion into it!

According to the piece I saw on the news, the eggs were implanted; his wife could not carry a child; they are her eggs. I don't know whose sperm.

I saw in on the news, it HAS to be true! ;-) ;-) ;-)

My only concern would be the effect of any hormones he was taking to maintain his maleness but I guess whatever floats your boat. I'm sure the child will be a bit confused but likely no moreso than a child who's parent goes through a gender change after birth and its the only thing they'll know so it will be "normal" for them. However I would not be advertising this to the world for your child to google it later and leave them open for teasing, I'd be more discrete but I guess that's my personal preference not to advertise my life to the world.

Hmm, the report I read said that the eggs were his, wonder if they changed their story based on this type concerns?? Even implanted eggs are at risk.....the dude still has a beard, meaning his testosterone level is still high, even if he's not taking it anymore it stays in the system. I read they are expecting a girl, so that can't be a good thing.

Yes Gabby came home from school telling me about the prg man.She may have been a little confused when I told her she/he used to be a woman so he/she still had his/her female sex organs. She can not get why a woman would want to become a man.

She did google the pics though, rather odd!
