Weekend Chit Chat Thread

Got to go pick the kid up today.  Not my favorite thing to spend 7 hours in a car today.  I looked at Greyhound's rates.  Just crazy.  It's $74 one way (there's this card that she can get a 20% off fare, but that still makes it around $60) and the trip takes 5.5 hours.  It costs us about $40 (we use a tank of gas) and it's only 3.5 hours one way.  And I can get her when class is done- the bus that she could take leaves at 5 or something.  I kind of wish she'd make a relationship with the girl down the hall that graduated from the SAME HIGH SCHOOL as her and we could at least share driving.   Whatever,  I think she likes us coming to get her. 

Becca left last night and they got to where they were going fine. She posted a picture from her hotel room this morning. It's been a really good experience for her, but I seriously hope this teacher doesn't decide to do this again until Becca's graduated.  It was $120 for her to go- we had NO fundraising whatsoever.  I don't know if the parent's associaton kicked in anything or not.   A couple of the Junior parents were mad b/c they've got Ring Dance tomorrow another expence and, they aren't getting home until at least 10pm tonight .
