My youngest child is going to drive me nuts.

This semester has just been hard.  She's got 2 really intense academic classes (french and Alg 2).  French has been a struggle- she says to me "mom- stuff just isn't clicking".  It's almost up to passing- with this report that she's been working on I think she'll at least pass it.  I'm not fond of a C (or possibly 2) on her permanant record- I just hope they don't ding her GPA too much.

Well today- an HOUR after dh had left with Kristen to take her back to campus she says "I have algebra homework I don't understand.  "  SIGH.  Had I known that- I would have taken Kristen back- and dh and Becca would have done the housework needed so things can go smootly since I start temping tomorrow.  She didn't want to deal with it before today- because her sister was here on break and I think they miss each other :)

Dh is working with her on it now.  And hopefully they won't be up until midnight doing it.  And with as little drama as possible (though there's drama going on right now).

It's hard.  It's the nature of this 4x4 scheduling.  She had crazy easy classes last semester- and she gets slammed this one.  And there's not much we can do about it.

She lost the laptop in her room until futher notice.  If schoolwork has to be done on it (I think her French project is on here) she can have it back ONLY for that.  No web episodes of Secret Life or anything.

Good news of the weekend was she got into Govenor's school.  And no- the 2 C's aren't going to hurt that.  She's going to have to do some creative scheduling to figure out how to graduate with the diploma she wants.  Right now she can only take 4 classes a year b/c they leave right after lunch.  She could take 6 if I let her drive- and I'm not fond of her driving into downtown and leaving during rush hour.  Not with having a licence for only 3 months before hand. And most definately NOT right now.  Not with the 2 borderline grades. SIGH

Hi everyone, happy weekend!

Friday was a busy day.  It was a half day for students, so in the afternoon, I worked on a project for the teacher who I work with. My kids had regular school days (it was only parent teacher conferences for the elementary buidlings).  After work, I went food shopping.  IN the evening, I went to see Kayleigh perform at the HS in Dancing With the Clubs.  Her club (science club) didn't win - boys varsity basketball team did, they were amazing, who knew?  Ian went to the staff-student basketball game at the middle school

Today, Ian is on an all day scout training/hike with his patrol.  Kayleigh is here doing homework. I cleaned, ran errands and now I can relax and putter through some small projects at home

Tomorrow, shopping with Ian. He needs jeans and some dress clothes, plus I have a couple of gifts to buy. I have a gift card to OUtback, so we'll also go out to lunch.

Hey there.  Today is my day off.  I did nothing this morning.  I did finally load my dishwasher and vaccuumed the family room.  Read my book the rest of the afternoon until time to pick the girls up from school.  Nothing going on tonight, but I think these nothing Friday nights will be few and far between before too much longer.  Matthew is alreayd showing signs of being restless wanting something to do.  Dinner will be chicken.

Saturday we are going to the St. Patricks day parade and then Tim is taking the kids to an afteroon Monster Truck show.  I will going home to a quiet house.

Sunday Tim will be going fishing with a friend for most of the day.  Kids and may find something to do.  I know Matthew wants to hit the Flea Market to look for an old XBox game.

Quiet weekend.  DS had today off of school and I've been doing stuff around the house. I did sign him up for tennnis lessons and get our adress changed with the park district. That's been on my to do list since we moved.  I did go check out a new hair salon today and was disappointed with it.  My search continues.

Tomorrow DS has bowling and I have housework to do.  Sunday we have no plans.  I would like DH to take care of the reciept/bill basket and get caught up on filing. He wanted the job, now do it!  I'd like to go grocery shopping too.

Got up and around this morning and out the door pretty well.  I got a roast and veggies in the crock pot for this evening's dinner.  I am working this morning trying to finalize up some bill analysises to get filed.  Jordyn and I have our beauty appointments at 1:15 and 1:45 and then we are going over to the Neiman Marcus Rack store to do one last check for prom dresses before I order the one she wants.  And I had planned on taking us all to the chiropractor after that.  DH said he would try and pick up the girls for me if I would try and be home early.  If he picks up the girls I will have him meet us there. Jordyn is working a sleepover at the gym tonight as a fundraiser for their New Orleans trip next month.  I hope they have a good turn out!

DH is on call all weekend long so I don't think he'll be around much since its supposed to be up in the mid 80's and that's when a lot of stuff goes wrong, the first really warm week/weekend of the spring.  We have a birthday party to attend tomorrow morning at 10:45.  The girls should go down easily for a nap after that and Jordyn will sleep all afternoon so I can get some housework and cleaning done.

Sunday, nothing much planned other than groceries and I have a full day of St. Patricks/green day things to do with the kids, lots of green food and a few crafts and games to keep them busy while I do some spring cleaning.  Jordyn has practice sunday evening and I have a parents meeting for the New Orleans trip.

Have a great one!!
