Mike always makes fun of the people watering their lawn--why would you water it when it means you have to cut it more often???? LOL

Aly is about the height now that my MIL was, 4'10" or 4'11". My mom was probably 5'6" or so (in pictures, she was almost my dad's height), so I'm shorter than her at 5'4", but Aly will likely be shorter than me--possibly 5'1" one of the peds said (the female one).

My DVD (Hurricane on the Bayou) came in. I'm finished all I planned to tonight, so I'm about to watch it. I've seen it already, but I want to watch it again before I show it to my classes. I guess I'll give (with principal permission) the 3 Katrina evacuees the option of going to another classroom if they don't want to see it.

I wouldn't even do a riding lawn mower. I was a chicken.

I also refused to go in the attic (too clumsy without the added weight) and to change a few of the lightbulbs in the house that required me to stand on something (the clumsy factor).

I am sure we are the only ones with an uncut lawn right now. I have no idea when it will get done either. I refuse to do it.....lovely wife, right? I just know if I do, it will become 'my job'.

Time for both kids to learn how to push that mower!
