Sounds like Dale he is fussing with the white part on Gabby's bike because he says it isn't quite right. The white part was the part he let Gab do.However,he is redoing it.

Gabby ended up having to drop track.Between dance and the school play it got to be too much. Some days she would leave our house at 7:20 and not be home at all until 9:30,so by the time she did homework and took a shower she was stressed and overly tired.Plus she missed at least 2 track practices a week some weeks because of dance and the play.Gabby said some of the girls doing gymnastics also ended up dropping track.I knew when she started it was going to conflict too much, but Dale wa sthrilled she was interested in it.Plus she diecided she hates to run that much.

Our cheerleaders do the same for football vs basketball. Football--they all cheer; basketball-they are broken into 2 (not 3, though) teams, and Team A will cheer at these games and team b will cheer at those games.

Our cheerleaders do travel, but parents have to bring them.

Cheer might be lower. However, from what I hear about cheer is that alot of the coaches are not trined in how to safely teach the girls to do some of the stuff they do,thus they end up getting hurt, because they are not doing the stuff exactlly right or safely.I am sure injurie would go down if they used proper procedures.Just like Gab's finger last week,if she would have had a glove on it would not have happened.

That makes sense.

I do like that they get to keep a uniform, that can be a cool momento to keep tucked away.

We had a team dancer fall from flying this year and break her foot.

Alexis has gotten her share of bumps and bruises being a base, but has not broken anything yet.

okay, then...I misread your post.

The cheerleaders that are there for basketball stay for 4 or 5 one-hour games. 6th grade girls basketball is never the same night as the others, but sometimes 6th grade boys basketball is played. Otherwise, the 4 teams are 7th grade girls, 7th grade boys, 8th grade girls, 8th grade boys.

But the cheerleaders are divided into 2 teams, so only half of them are there.

Aly has to play in the band at the home football games, but not the basketball games, so I will be attending all of the home football games next year.

I'm making blueberry muffins (yes, I realize it's almost lunchtime, but I just got up again and Mike & Aly are still sleeping).

I'm also making chicken salad for sandwiches.
