Its a super long weekend for me. I am off work until next Thursday. Yippee. Monday is a holiday here and I'm taking 2 extra days. Not sure what the plans are. Kristen is coming home this afternoon. Tomorrow afternoon she has a "graduation" party which is a water fight. Not going to be very warm though so we'll see what comes of that. I want to go to the Gatinau park for a picnic and to visit a historical site there, maybe Monday. We are not going downtown for Canada Day celebrations this year. We went last year and its fun and the fireworks are great but it is 100,000 people and trying to get home is a nightmare. So not sure if we'll do anything or just hang out. Kind of a weekend to do whatever we like which may not be much. Its
We leave late morning for AYBT (American Youth Basketball Tour) tournament. Andrew will play 3 games tomorrow afternoon and evening. We decided to just get a hotel as he plays at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on SUnday morning.
Saturday afternoon we will hit the mall between games, and check into the hotel. After the late game, dinner and swimming before hitting the sack.
Sunday afternoon will just be unpacking and getting ready for the week-probably need to get groceries.
Dodging raindrops in South Central Oklahoma. Hopefully, things will dry out by the 4th. Abbie goes to her Dad's for 2 weeks on Sunday and DSS is gone, too. We'll be childless for 2 weeks! (I doubt it, though--Abbie is already planning her escape. She doesn't like to be gone for that long). She's such a homebody and she hates missing cheer and being around her friends. Her M.O. is that if she cries enough, he'll give up and bring her home. I almost feel sorry for him.
It's always nice for the first couple of days when they're gone, but then I'm at loose ends. Fortunately, DH has been getting home early lately, so I'm not too bored. I need a project. I'd love to work in the yard, but everything is just mush from all the rain.
If we get any sun, I'll be poolside, working on my tan with a margarita in my hand. :o)
Hannah is still asleep. It's 11:15 here. Tonight we have no plans. We'll do this and that. :) Tomorrow Hannah is going to a barbecue with a couple of friends. I have a few projects to do while she's done. I want to get rid of some stuff that's in her room.
Sunday, church and packing for vacation on IN-laws boat.
Should be a nice and relaxing weekend. I love it!!!!
We have a wedding tonight and we actually don't have plans for Sat or Sun, believe it or not.
We're still trying to figure out a small trip, and it's possible we could leave as early as Sat--we don't have any plans/activities from Sat to the following Mon! Or we may just wait until later July or even early Aug.

Thank you! He did AYB last summer too and it was a lot of fun. Long days, but a lot of fun. I'll update on Monday!
