FRIDAY---Emily has a out of town volleyball game tonight and then after we are going to head to our favorite Mexican joint for a birthday dinner for her since inlaws are here
SATURDAY--we are heading 2 hours back home to see my grandfather who is not doing well---will stay there til Sunday afternoon sometime.
This evening stop by the grocery store to pick up a few things before I go to the sportsplex to pick Jamie up from indoor soccer training at 7pm. Watch a Netflix movie, the girls have one too.
Saturday & Sunday we are driving up to the Baltimore 'burbs for Rachel's club lacrosse tryouts. She has them from 3-5pm but has to be there a little earlier to check in & pick up tryout number. Not sure if she'll be indoors or out, depends on the weather. If she's inside we'll go hang out in a nearby mall since there won't be enough room to watch...if its outside we are welcome to watch since there aren't space constraints.
Will probably go out to dinner afterwards both days before we come home. Hopefully I can fit some errands in the morning both days also.
Tomorrow, grocery shopping and Valentines shopping in the morning, then Ian's basketball game in the afternoon followed by the awards ceremony and party.
Tonight -- we just got done having a bday party for Max, 8-yo ds (actually turns 8 on Monday). We had it at a place that does absolutely everything for you, so it was a piece of cake... Just had to write invitations and a check!!! :-) The kids had a great time. Now two of the guests are sleeping over. These are low-maintenance sleepover kids, though. They are tucked into the basement pull-out couch together watching "Game Plan" on DVD and will probably all be zonked out by 10:30.
Tomorrow, Mitch (12-yo) has a basketball game in the a.m., then the district Elks Hoop Shoot competition, then another basketball game at 3 pm. Max has a basketball game at 2 pm. So tomorrow is all basketball.
Sunday, we will go to church and Max has an indoor swimming birthday party to go to at a hotel, then Jump Rope for Heart...
So, a weekend all about the kids. Monday will be our adult sanity/"date night" -- we are going to see Will Ferrell.
