Thank the Lord, we are not going out of town this weekend. Yipee!!! I'm in my sweat pants now.
Tonight we're eating leftovers. Hannah has a bunch of assignments due and is working on that this eve. It's almost the end of the semester. The teachers pile the work on at the end. I want to watch, On Golden Pond but nobody wants to watch it with me. We'll watch something on-demand.
Tomorrow we're going to go see a movie with Hannah's friend and parents. What movie should we go see? We can't see Dream Girls, it's not appropriate. Hannah really wanted to see that one too.
Sunday, we going to church and then coming home and watching the bears and saints. I think that's who's playing football, lol
We've got a reasonably busy weekend ahead. both kids have gifted classes on Saturday morning. Ds has a swim meet Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon we will be watching the Da Bears beat the Saints in the NFC Championship game. Ds has two long term projects he needs to work on and needs to unearth his school recorder from the mess that is his room. He was supposed to bring it back after Christmas break and hasn't found it. His music teacher is starting to get UPSET!
We're selling Girl Scout cookies! Well, at least contacting lots of people to see if they want to buy some. We don't do the neighborhood thing (just our direct neighbors) because our neighborhood is riddled with Girl Scouts....girls' families who have lived here much longer than us (we've been here for 11 years).
I'm sure Aly will want to spend some time with my MIL who is down the street at my SIL's house.
Bunch of movies to watch. I plan to watch Akeelah & the Bee, Finding Neverland, Cheaper by the Dozen 2, and Where the Red Fern Grows. We have a couple other movies, but not for me.
I also need to figure out a way to get a bunch (a huge bunch) of toiletries & such (for wounded soldiers at an army medical center in DC) to a friend who lives farther than my hometown. Her school is doing a drive, and my Jr. Beta Club students collected for her drive.
I have an exciting weekend of house work and paperwork planned. WOOOOHOOOO! lol, I'm also hoping to hit my treadmill today since my leg is feeling better. I wanted to during the week but I've been working long hours and between work, the kids and the house, I've barely had a moments peace.
