Karin, DH Mike, Hannah (12.5) and Nathan (10).

Yes. For Nathan's grade they still give out Valentines and do the whole food, craft, game thing. For Hannah the 7th and 8th graders gather in the gym and have snacks and sometimes have music playing and sometimes board games or card games. It's kind of just like an indoor recess. No Valentines but last year she brought in candy to pass out.

My kids go to a K-8, after reading all the other responses of MS who don't have parties, maybe that is why they do????

Brittany in CA..

I'm pretty sure the twins Vanessa & Jazmine (10) will be having a classroom party.

Kiana is going to a V-Day dance on Feb 11. She is super excited!

Michelle here with DH Scott, Phillip 11, Sarah 5, Mary 2 in Missouri.

Surprisingly Phillip's class is doing a party. He didn't last year so I wasn't expecting it this year.

Tina (39), DH - Larry (38) - married almost 18 1/2 yrs, DD - Alisha (13 on Feb. 2), DS -Brett (16) & DS - Samuel (2). We are in Birmingham, Alabama.

No more Valentine's Day parties for us since DD is in jr. high but the school does allow the kids to receive goodies through the office from balloons to flowers to gift baskets.

We found out last night that there is a boys volleball tournement on V-Day and they leave at noon so some of the boys are disappointed they won't be with their "true loves" all day. (Okay, one boy. LOL) I told Kristen that they aren't having a party anyway and he's not even in the same class so he'll see her pretty much the same amount of time as usual. You're 11! Get a grip!
