Hi! I'm Rebecca in Ohio with Jaben (10) and Kyan (21 mos). I don't know if I'd call it "Halloween Themed" but I really like the Final Destination movies - those are the BEST scary movies!!

PS Thank you all for your advice last week! I didn't get a chance to update and say thanx but I wanted to say quick that all the replies were very appreciated!!

Michelle here in Missouri with DH Scott, DS Phillip, DD Sarah and DD Mary.

I would have to say my favorite Halloween movie would have to be Charlie Brown.

Missed this yesterday. Tam and Kristen (11.5) in Ottawa, Canada. My fave is Nightmare before Christmas but I also really like Beetlejuice (spelled wrong I think) and of all the movies Ernest Scared Stupid. LOL Its really cute. I like lots though. I like Hocus Pocus, Tower of Terror, Haunted Mansion. There are lots of cute ones out there that aren't too scary. I prefer those to horror movies like Freddie or Jason.

Cindy (the mom) & Quinn (the 13 year old son).
We both absolutely love 'Young Frankenstein'!!! (We watch it at least once a month. Sometimes 2 or 3 times in 1 month. We are that nuts about it.) It's an older Mel Brooks movie from 1974. With Gene Wilder ("My grandfathers ideas were do-do!"), Teri Garr ("Roll, roll, roll in the hay!"), Peter Boyle (the old dad on 'Everybody Loves Raymond) plays 'The Creature', Cloris Leechman (who is one of the funniest women ever) & Marty Feldman ("Well, they were wrong. Weren't they?"). If you have never seen the movie, you are doing yourself a grave misjustice. Quinn's good friend Braedon is hanging out with us tonight. He has never seen it (shock!). We are going to a haunted house, grabbing a pizza, then coming home to watch it.
*We also love 'Spaceballs'. I love 'High Anxiety' & 'Blazing Saddles' (I think that Quinn's old enough to see it now). Both are Mel Brooks movies.

"Beetlejuice' is one of the craziest movies ever. I think that whoever wrote that one was doing some illegal substance while they were writing the script!!! It is so nutty! 'Hocus Pocus'. Isn't that the one with Bette Midler, Sare Jessica Parker & that fun chubby actress as sister witches? If so, that's a good one too.

IMO...'Poltergeist' is a great scary movie. No one gets killed in it.
I can't do real horror movies where people get butchered, stabbed & etc. The last true horror movie that I saw in the movie theather was 'Friday The 13th'. (The orginal one.) I think I was around 16 or 17. I had to sleep on the floor in a sleeping bag for 2 nights because I thought that 'Jason' (was that his name?) or someone was under my bed.
