Cindy (the mom) & Quinn (the tween)...13 next Monday.
Our favorite pumpkin recipe is the pumpkin pie recipe that is on the back of a can of Libby's pumpkin. Except, we use pumpkin pie spice instead of the 2 or 3 spices they list & we bake the crust for a few minutes before filling so it will be good & done.
I've made pumpkin pie from whole pumpkins before, but this is a lot easier & taste just as good, if not a little better because the pumpkin in the can is predictable. (It's hard to tell how a whole pumpkin is going to be, too watery, not sweet enough, etc.)
Pumpkin pie is the only thing that Quinn will get in the kitchen & make just about all by himself. The only thing that I do is put the pie in & out of the oven. Also, we like it so much, that we will bake it year around. Even in the summer. He eats 2 slices at a time. I figure it's better for him than cookies & brownies. And he's skinny enough to where he can pull it off.

Linda in Ontario, Canada with dh, Alex (almost 13) , Rachel 10, and Matthew (9 today) . We don't have any pumpkin recipes. We only like pumpkin pie which I tried to make a few years ago and it was a disaster, so now we buy it.

Sylvia here, with dh Vin, tween Matthew and yds Brandon. We live in Arizona.

I honestly don't have a pumpkin recipe. I just buy a pumpkin pie already made. One time I ate a piece of pumpkin cheesecake but it was at a hotel and I don't have that recipe...sorry!
