Tam (42) and Kristen (11) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Most of her supplies from last year are still good. I only need to get some basics like glue sticks, scissors, and the paper/duotangs/binders. We don't know what she needs yet as each teacher has their own individual lists. I am going to try and get ahold of the teacher the week before school before we go to Syracuse for our back to school shopping trip so I can see if the stuff is cheaper in the US than here. But I don't need too much more.

I'm Laurie and I am sahm to my dd who is 10 and my ds who is 8 1/2. I have picked up a few things for the kids for back to school. My kids do not start school till September 5th so we have time still. We have picked up "cool" items that might not be around once everyone starts shopping. She found some pencils, pens, erasers, a binder, and a backpack that she had to have. We are actually heading out today to the mall to beat the heat so I am sure we will be coming home with more stuff. I know that the mall we are going to has the converse all-stars that she wants so I am sure we will be getting those today.

Cindy, mom to Quinn. He'll be 13 in Oct. We live in hot, but beautiful NC.
Haven't bought a single school supply. Then again, he won't even consider looking at them. I don't have the needed supply list anyway, so it wouldn't do any good to get him to look at them.
I've bought him a couple of shirts for school. Of course, he's already wearing them. Still holding out on those shoes he wants. He wants a pair of Chuck Taylors that have skulls all over them. They are right at $50. I have a problem with them being $50 & having no arch support. And they are canvas. Made in China (I was informed). I just can't get over them costing so much. They are funky though.
OOPS! Sorry. I drifted off the subject.

Ang, DH, dd Rachel (10) & dd Jamie (7.5) in DC 'burbs of MD. For the first time I can remember I have almost all the girls school supplies. Maybe because this is the first yr the school sent it home on the last day of school ;-) and made it available on line.
