I wouldn't really know how my tween is this week, she's been at sleepaway camp the past 12 days, I've gotten two letters and we get her at 5:30 pm today.

Not a very exciting week, went to the lake with Ian once, the pool with Ian once, the pool alone once.

1. Jordyn was pretty darn good this week
2. Getting all the new info on the new gym, of course the money truck needs to be rolling up to my house any minute now
3. Still procrastinating on packing
4. SPent most of the week arranging moving stuff, utilities, all that fun stuff

Weekend: Found out yesterday afternoon that DH has guard duty ALL WEEKEND, including Monday, how disorganized can the army be, I mean really. Plus we found out last night that Wed. - Fri. next week will be late nights, so I really will have to do most of the packing/moving by myself again, not happy at all about that. So we think Jordyn is going to a sleepover with her teammates tonight and shopping tomorrow, but will find out at lunch. I have serious packing to do, and that is about it.

My tween has been a miserable, grouchy bear this week. I believe, I may have even threatened to tape her mouth shut if she continued to talk back. Oh, she's 13 for sure. Add in the extreme heat we've had and it's been a really enjoyable week for us all (very sarcastic tone).

Weekend plans - Well, DH is away yet again with the Navy so I'm here with the 4 kids. Tomorrow I've already informed them all that I (oh yes, alone) am going to have my nails done. Laundry and swimming (finally, the pool is finished) will hopefully pass the time.

A busy week for us. Work was a bit crazy. My boss was leaving for a month's vacation so that was nuts as she freaked out trying to do everything before she left and making us all crazy. This morning we were all in great moods as she left on the plane yesterday. LOL Camp is going okay for Kristen. You saw my vent about the whole birthday party thing, otherwise not much to report. Enjoying my a/c.

This weekend, well, see my vent. LOL Not sure yet about Saturday but Sunday we are going for a picnic lunch with some ladies I met on the internet (not of them were fat hairy bald guys - real women with kids) and I have to bake a dessert for my colleagus going way lunch on Wed. Not sure what yet. And clean my bathroom. But that's about it. Maybe if Kristen does go on the camping thing I'll go to a big people's movie.

DS has bible study tonight, then tomorrow he might do some volunteer work, and that is all he has. I, on the other hand, will be doing laundry, studying, meeting the team for a class project, cooking and doing dishes. Hubby is going to do something around the house I don't know what yet and he doesn't either but I'm sure I'll see something that needs repairing or caulking or nailing down. :)

Rachel has a summer league bball game this evening then Sat we're going to the library. The girls are in the summer reading club so need to return books then get more for their summer reading packets. Sun is Rachel's birthday party at a gourmet ice cream & bakery. Its an ice cream making & cake decorating party so it should be fun & delish. Then that evening I'm dropping her off at my mom's for a week long day bball camp at my old HS.

Rach has been cranky this wk, probably due to the heat & lack of sleep. She has been staying up reading & we let her since its summer but her sister wakes up early so she doesn't get to sleep in as much as we'd like her to. (They insist on sleeping in the same room - if they slept in their own rooms it wouldn't be as much as of an issue ;-)

Pretty boring week. My DS starts school on August 7th so I am preparing for that. I am so not ready. I have been loving no homework and no bedtimes!!!!

My DS has a golf tournament all weekend. I'm looking forward to it. It's extremely hot and exhausting but fun. The poor boys have to carry their clubs, no carts.

My parents are coming for a visit this weekend. I think I'm taking my mom to the riverboat. She likes to go and "gamble". She's so cute because she plays the nickel machines spending about 10 cents a go. Oh well, she doesn't lose much money that way!

DS has a baseball game on Sat. At least the temps are supposed to be a little more reasonable!

Hannah was pretty good this week. However, I can't believe how much she "pushes" her brother. Then she gets upset when he screams at her and hits her. (when does school start?)

I've only seen Luke briefly this week--he's off at Boy Scout camp and doesn't return until tomorrow. I DID see him last night for a short time though.
