I finished costumes and shopping for Halloween, kept up with laundry (although I have another mountain of it today), got our computer up and running, did some birth announcements and invitations for some friends, did some baking (pumpkin bread and regular bread, cookies, enchiladas and eggrolls), finished a batch of handmade cards for a swap (22 in 2 designs) and found my way to 2 new places in our new town (one of which was the post office). I'm beginning to feel like I know my way around a bit! WHoo hoo!
Today I'm cleaning the house top to bottom and since Hubs is not on call duty for the weekend we're going to take our kids to some of the local "tourist" stuff tomorrow - Sunday we're carving pumpkins and going to church and being lazy!I'll be off and on~!
Typical traumas here - Hannah's home sick today. Hopefully she will recover in time for her soccer game tomorrow.
Tonight we are watching all of the Lord of the Rings movies. Sunday, after church, my mom and her dh are coming over for brunch. We are having breakfast burritos.
Not much this week. Its been a week of crappy weather, I'm getting a bit burned out on school tests, Kristen was a bit snotty, just kind of a blah week.
No big plans for the weekend. I'm have to take my car to the garage to find out why it sometimes makes a funny noise by the front wheel (happened before and something was rubbing). Hope to get that figured out today and for little expense. Then tomorrow I'm picking Kristen up at her Dad's, then she has riding, Sunday she has curling and that's about it. Might go for brunch before curling, not sure yet, its kind of expensive. Kind of a do nothing weekend.
This has been a great week!!
