Monday: Don't remember, don't think we did much Tuesday: spent the evening at the gym watching Jordyn, oh and went to the store for a new pair of dress pants Wednesday: Stayed home with Jordyn, cooked a nice dinner and relaxed. Thursday: Worked late, spent the rest of my evening at the gym, the chinese food here in Texas so far is crappy. I need to find me a good chinese place.
This weekend, its pretty busy, have to clean the house, do tons of laundry, find a lost Christmas present I bought Jordyn, I need to return part of it since she ended up getting it already, I am working a fundraiser tomorrow from 1:00 p.m. til around 10:00 and then Sunday my DH's brother and sister in law are having a birthday party for their son, so we have to run out get him a gift and then head over there.
It's been a pretty quiet week - some ups and downs but all in all fairly quiet. Kids have explored a good portion of our new neighborhood and played out quite a bit. This weekend we're going to find the city library, do a little grocery shopping, church and writing family letters.
This week had it's ups and downs for sure. I had my birthday on Wednesday, but on the same day I found out that my Grandmother is in the hospital and is going to have her leg amputated....and she is in Ontario, and I'm in Saskatchewan. We're 3000km apart, and I don't see how I can be there, financially.
This weekend is kind of up in the air. We have Jamie (my stepdaughter) this weekend, and Alyssa (5) has a birthday party tomorrow all afternoon. Tonight, Nic (10) and I are going to a concert (Brad Johner). Neither one of us are big country music fans, but my boss gave me the tickets for my birthday...I feel obligated to go...so, Rory said he'd stay home with the girls.
Other than that, I'm on alert, ready to do whatever I can to jump on a plane and get to Ontario if I have to.
And today's Friday the 13th. Now, I'm not superstitious, but go figure....
Well, short week for us. Monday being the holiday we didn't do much but did go to the pool for a bit. DD brought her friend with us. Wed. was the open house at school, I heard some not to great things about the behaviour of the class as a whole in the French class so had a "discussion" with DD after. That did not go so well (well, she sits there in stony silence and cries and I talk at her *sigh*) but I guess she got the point. Otherwise just kind of a normal week. She had archery on Tuesday and the instructor told her even if she missed the next 3 lessons she could go on to intermediate level. We found out the last class is at 6:00 on Halloween so she won't be there and likely the rest of the kids in the class won't be either.
No big plans this weekend. I HAVE to finish her costume. She has riding Saturday and Sunday is her first curling lesson this winter. They have a brunch Sunday at the restaurant at the place where she takes lessons so we will probably go for Brunch first as her lesson starts at 1:00. That will be some time for me to study since I don't really have time to come home and then go back.
Monday: just stayed home and cleaned house Tuesday: Had a dentist appointment, and a church meeting Wednesday:Kids got out early for a break(they go back on Tuesday), I also had to take 15 year old son to orthodontist appt. Thursday: the kids and I just had a lazy day at home Today: took 15 year old son to eye doctor, and yes he does need glasses!
Weekend plans: not much of anything just cleaning the house!! And going to chrurch on Sunday!!-----Virginia
Brag - Hannah got one of her privileges back. (her friends) She's been grounded due to having A's and B's in all her class but an F in Science. She had to improve in science some how/some way and she is doing it. The good thing about this grade is that she has until the middle of Jan. to bring the grade up. Thank goodness for her.
Hannah didn't have school on Friday or this coming Monday. Tonight (sat) we are going to our church fall festival. Should be fun! The youth group is creating a card board maze. They worked on it last night and are working on it this morning. I'm dropping Hannah off to help this morning for a few hours, then she has a soccer game, after the soccer game I'll drive her back to help finish up for tonight. Sun - we are going to our timeshare for the night. We are going to our favorite town a couple of hours from here. It's a Bavarian village. You know it's Oct feast, right? The leaves are changing their color, it should be a beautiful drive. Hannah gets to bring her best friend along too. We'll just walk around, buy stuff, hang in the hot tub....... Hope everyone is having a nice weekend.
